Slide it onto the female end of the seat belt and then insert male end.

They give you one key but you can use anything that’ll fit in the key slot (nail file, screw driver etc). I mostly use my car key since I already have in my hand.

I don't know for certain, but I've brought this with us when we travel and we've been in trucks and have never had an issue. As long as the seat buckle isn't extremely big for some reason, you shouldn't have an issue.

I’m not sure on the car but I imagine the seatbelt clasp are the same and if so these work great.
