This is an adorable gender neutral seaside/ocean/beach themed quilt that would make a perfect addition for that couple desiring a neutral baby theme -- and bright fun colors with lots of activity. This quilt was quilted in my home studio in Hershey, PA where you can smell chocolate being made every day. Perhaps that is why they call it the sweetest place on Earth. While this quilt doesn't smell and/or look like chocolate it surely is sweet and would melt the heart of some little guy or gal. This would be the perfect quilt as it is gender neutral for someone who is doing a nautical theme or for someone who just loves the beach. The colors are vibrant ( red, blue, yellow, white) The back is made with coordinating fabrics from the same collection -- so both sides are equally appealing. The binding coordinates and compliments the quilt. It measures approximately 35ish x 42ish so it would make a perfect crib quilt or toddler blanket -- or playmat. Made with 100% cotton fabrics - this quilt will be comfortable year round. The middle (batting) is warm and natural (cotton) as well. Warm and Natural does not contain any resins and/or glues. The pictures really do not do justice to the beauty of the quilt. The quilt was quilted on my long arm quilting frame using a random meander stitch. Once quilted I finished it with French binding (double folded technique) and this finishes the quilt -- and it looks so professional. Once quilted it was washed; to care for it simply put in the washer and wash on warm cycle and tumble dry. This would make the perfect gift for a gender reveal party, a new baby gift, a gift for a toddler, a special gift to commemorate (or remember) a special trip to the beach, a stroller quilt or to be used as a play mat. Children would love the bright colors and would be very stimulating (if used as a play mat).
