This is my first money counter I have purchased..and hopefully my last. I started selling customized bracelets at my local farmers market and at the end of the day it is a bit difficult for me to count and keep track of the cash on hand.I bring along my portable power thank anyway so I plug in this money counter-which uses a standard three-pronged plug, and it works totally fine.The most useful functions for me are the 1) Count function which allows me to see how many bills I have and 2) the Mix function which shows the amount of the bills being counted and the actual number of bills.Since I deal with a lot of the public I’m never sure if the cash I receive is legit so I run their cash through the machine to make sure it isn’t counterfeit. So, far I’ve had no issues.From my personal experience I have found having the feeder wheels positioned with the grip facing up makes my bills go through more smoothly.Lastly, every once in a while I’m left with small bills like 1s and 5s so this money counter has a batch feature so I can have it count out say 10 or 20 ones to pay my helpers. It makes it much faster and easier to do especially having them watch the machine do it in front of them

This counter saves us lots of time and increases accuracy over the old counter, which only counted the number of bills. The only think it doesn't do is sort rejects into another bin, but that is available on the more expensive machine (which I can't afford).I'm glad I made this purchase and am very happy with it!I noticed that there are several negative comments about jamming. I have never had any of the problems mentioned with jamming or tearing, except with really worn out bills that you shouldn't be putting though a machine anyway.It is very sensitive to folded bills and marks on bills, and that is exactly what you want it to do. If the scanner can't see the whole bill it can't be sure that it's genuine or not, or the denomination. It stops so that you can personally examine the "suspect" bill and decide what to do next.

The Kolibri Domino was our first choice for a money counter at our church. It works very well and accurately. We also like that it can spot counterfeit money.

Very satisfied with my purchase, at first I was wary about the upfront cost, as I prefer to put money into quality products. I am so pleased with my investment into the Domino, I’ve been burned before purchasing other bill counters with little defined features and unclear instructions. Although, so far with this device I’ve saved time and money! If it weren’t for the ease of use and user-friendly modes then I’d be fiddling with the bills’ orientation, denomination etc.Side Note: I did opt for the warranty because I personally find peace of mind in a back-up, but happy to admit I haven’t needed it! I do recommend it for those who will buy this for their business setting like me.
