Great for temporarily connecting filters to a faucet for flushing
I use disposable water filters for my icemaker and reverse osmosis drinking water system. They require 10 minutes of flushing before use. With this adapter, I can connect them to an outdoor faucet and flush them without making a mess in the house.

Okay at low pressures
Product leaked at the outdoor hose spicket unless I dropped the PSI with ball valve.

This is for NPT (National Pipe Thread) NOT for a Garden Hose Thread (GHT)
If you're looking for something that connects to a GARDEN HOSE type connection, this is not it. It's for 3/4 PIPE thread. Garden Hose thread is different.It's not a manufacturer issue if it "leaks" or doesn't "work" with a garden hose connection. It's not supposed to. The threads are different.There are other products that meet the GHT requirement. Different thread pattern, different purposes.

Definitely not garden hose thread
I needed to fix a Keurig by hooking it temporarily to a garden hose. It allowed me to test the Keurig. That was all I needed it for. Definitely not garden hose thread as water went everywhere.

Leaks under pressure
Threaded hose bib leaks above 30psi - No amount of pipe dope and blue monster tape can save it

Cheap plastic threads
BOTH were the same as for being cheap made plastic threading which would NOT stop leaking.. threw them both in garbage.. the quick connect push in end did hold
