Because I love both fidget items and leather, i saw this and decided to pick it. Other people probably not fans of leather smell but i am and it smells like pure leather, not chemical formulas. Leather is soft but not like raw or swede. It's like a polish or finished leather. It's about the size of a tennis ball. Was worried about quality due to other reviews but thankfully mines came mint. I do note that it is pretty solid but perhaps need fiddling to break in a little. I do have small weak hands so that may also be a factor. Otherwise, I feel like a cat with dilated pupils with this and fixated bc i love both leather and fidgets so I'm liking this alot. Final note, i expected this to be a little bigger but think this being compact enough is better to company me for my travels. Really love it and now interested in more HnD gear! Last but not least, i find it cool I finally can find Guatemalan products on Amazon as I'm Guatemalan American myself :)

I love quality stress balls and have quite a few in my collection. As a stress ball this product is pretty terrible. It's about as effective as if you balled up a t-shirt or towel and squeezed that. I can't confirm the construction but it feels like they just filled it with cotton rags or those bags they ship their products in. I was very disappointed as its very hard to find a good leather stress ball and I was very happy with my other purchases from Hide and Drink. Also, the leather is much thinner than I anticipated and doesn't have that plush sensation that I expect from quality leather.

Firstly, it is well made and met my expectations. Secondly, it has a surprise magical affect. I spontaneously tossed it to my severely disabled son who suddenly peeled out giggling. THAT is some serious stress relief for not only me, but for him. Who would have thunk it had that kind of therapy success?? Needless to say, I love this ball! I would buy it again.

This was an impulse buy. My first purchase was of a bike bag that I was so impressed with , I bought a couple other things and this was one of them.I didn’t “ need “ a stress ball but the concept is great. It’s also good to keep your hands strong if you’re a stringed instrument player or just want to improve your grip strength.Most if not all “stressballs” ivevever seen or touched were made of the flimsy rubbery material that is so ridiculously squishy it is not relief to me. This thing however, it’s like the old school medicine balls exercise people and boxers would use, and just as tough. This is going to take a looooong time to even begin to soften.

I have numerous hide and drink products which I value with great regard. This ball i must say is a zero in my book. I ordered one arrived defective with a piece of plastic I think sticking out of its seams. Sent it back for a replacement and low and behold the same damn defective piece of plastic of some sort sticking out of the stitching. Quality control failed on this product. Come on guys you can do much better. Thank you , danny.

Seams a bit misaligned, but only others that sew will notice care. I bought a few things from them all nice quality with nice presentation and bonus leather company tag. IMO the design is cute. I bought a couple key chains as well as thumb/ index finger cover for when I'm sewing things like my husband's hockey bag. Those fit a million times better then another set I bought. I think I'll buy another for wood working.

High quality and made by a person with personality. Disappointed that it came in very dark walnut color instead of a brighter color as pictured. Otherwise good product.[Edit] I bought a second one and it was darker than the first one. Grumbling. In both cases the seams split. I admit I am tough on it, but surprised this happened.

This is not a typical stress ball. It’s very firm without much give, not like the typical stress ball which is very squeezable. The leather is soft but thin, feels more like suede. I would say it’s more for “fidgeting “ by tossing it back and forth between hands. If you’re looking for something “squeezable “, this isn’t the one. It’s nice though and maybe it will become more pliable with time.
