Not only great for your cat but great for pranks

These little rattle mice are my cats' favorite toys. They really love throwing them across the room and chasing them, especially on the kitchen floor so they can skid out and run in place before taking off like Fred Flintstone. They are SUPER worth the money to have a lot of replacements on hand because some will inevitably get lost...you will eventually find them behind the washing machine, between couch cushions, and the like. In conclusion, these little toys are fun for cats because of the enticing rattle sound they make, and how easy they are to throw and bat around; would highly recommend.

These Penn-Plax fur mice cat toys are perfect for the younger kitten and even a lot of older cats. The fake fur gives the feeling of real mice fur and their shape allows for a random movement when they are batted or tossed around. This elicits wonderful reactions from the cats and they can really have some fun. There are rattling beads inside too which helps to attract the cat when movement alone does not work. The cats will eventually destroy them, same as other toys, so having a dozen is great and quite affordable. Three colors to entice any cat, black, white, and gray. Recommended if your cat likes this type of toy.

The video I attached shows the difference in the rattling sound between the bead filled mice and the sand filled mice which come in the package and the difference between some of the bead filled vs bead filled and sand filled vs sand filled so you can see how loud or quiet they are and what they sound like. All of the male cats I've had throughout my life have always loved the "shaky mouse" as we call them, and some female cats too. The mice that have BEADS inside, NOT SAND, are the best. Each of the two packages that I've ordered over the years has some with beads and some with sand. The sand barely makes any sound, like a whisper, so my cats don't respond to them well. The beads are larger and make a very audible rattling sound when they are moved, which excites the cats a lot. They will play with the mice on their own for a really long time and it helps them get out a lot of energy and stimulates them! They fit perfectly in my cats' mouths and they carry them by the body and by the tail and truly love these mice! Some cats are smart enough to teach their human to play fetch, or the cat can be taught fetch with these, and the rattling sound excites them and lets them know when you're getting ready to throw it. Even my cats who can't figure out to return the mouse to me, they love for these to be thrown so they can run after them and pounce on them, then they will throw them around and play, then wait for you to come retrieve the mouse and do it all over again. This helps us have time to interact and bond and they get to run and get exercise and stimulation. There are three colors of mice, white, grey, and black, and the white is the favorite of my cats because they can see it easily. The black and grey blend in too well with our gloved hand (we use a knife glove to protect our hand when teasing them with it) and also with carpet. Most importantly, the white ones have always had beads, whereas the black and grey ones have beads OR sand in them, with grey always having sand in my experience, which is very disappointing. This is the reason that I knocked off a star from these and rated them a bit lower on "value for money". I'm paying this full price for the white mice with beads because they are the best, and sometimes one or more of the white mice don't rattle or barely rattle due to some type of defect. So, I'm paying this full price for however many white mice have beads, not sand, AND which rattle well. The rattling problem can happen with any of the colors of mice, and I think it's due to an irregular shape inside the mouse not allowing room for the beads to move, the beads get tightly stuck together and can't be dislodged, or there aren't enough beads in them. I really wish they would sell just all white mice, or at the very least, guarantee that ALL of the mice are filled with beads and not some with sand. The sand is useless. If some cats prefer sand, I wish they would sell one products with all beads and once separately with all sand. Based on reviews of other products that fill theirs with sand, I think cats prefer the beads, and this is THE reason that I buy this product. All others I've tried don't have the bead sound that cats love or are defective in other ways, so this brand is the best I've found. They do last a long time though because they are well made and durable, except the eyes and ears will and do come off after some time, but my cats don't care that much about them, so it's not a big deal at all. It takes a long time and some serious pulling over time, but your cats can pull off the tail. It's not the products fault because it really does hold up for a long time and very well to very rough play, and I wouldn't expect any more than that. When that happens, I give my cats a new mouse to play with since the tail is one of their favorite aspects of the toy. If you accidentally step on one, it will usually pop back into shape by squeezing it on the opposite sides. You can wash them by hand with some soap, rinse them well, and then dry them if they get dirty. I hope my review helps my fellow cat lovers and their cats!

My cat is OBSESSED with these toys! He plays hard and chews on everything, and these have held up for a decent amount of time. There are a lot of mice in the pack, which is great considering he tends to hide them where I can't find them. I did have to cut the tails off because my cat is known to chew them off and try to eat them, but other than that they're perfect!

These are one of my cats favorite toys. The only one she plays with because of fake fur. Refuses to play with a mouse if it's made of felt.

I originally found out that my cat LOVES rattling mice after having purchased an assorted bag of toys from Dollarama. Out of all the toys in the bag, the rattling mouse was her favourite but she destroyed it over time and the fur was cheap. These mice are identical to the one she loved from the Dollarama bag, but much more durable and better quality. She carries them around in her mouth and swats them around all day, she thinks they’re real! Awesome product and will buy again once these run out!

Great little mouse toy. Our cat loves it. We’ve only used one so far, and have lots left for backup when she inevitably hides it.

These are great and for a decent price as well. I gave my two cats a few to play with and within a few hours they were trashed and I ended up giving them all the mice in the pack. I definitely recommend this cat toy! They really love these mice. It might seem like a plain boring cat toy but it's definitely not.

I don't know where any of them are now. My kittens went and hid all of them potentially under my bed. Very good. Usually they don't play with mice, but they really liked the rattling.

My cat LOVES these. They are his favourite toys! He has yet to break them and so far they have proven to be pretty durable
