Rollin in Style (and Maybe a Few Bruises)
These purple roller skates are everything I never knew I needed in my life. First of all, they’re PURPLE. Not just any purple—like "I’m here to slay, but also have fun" purple. Sliding them on felt like strapping pure confidence onto my feet. The wheels roll so smoothly, I felt like I was gliding through a disco fever dream. Of course, my moves are less “figure skater” and more “baby deer on ice,” but hey, I looked fabulous while flailing. They’re surprisingly comfy, too—my feet felt supported even as my dignity did not. If you want to channel your inner retro superstar and don’t mind a few inevitable wipeouts, these skates are perfect. Just be prepared for compliments—and maybe invest in some knee pads. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.

Solid skates for a great price
I am relearning roller skates as an adult so I wanted a solid first pair that didn’t break the bank but didn’t fall apart in 2 months. I also didn’t want to have to upgrade components immediately. I returned a pair of Moxi Panthers as the quality was questionable (faulty toe stop) and honestly the metal plate made the boot too heavy for me. On my second try I am much more impressed with this brand right out of the gate. Jackson as a brand doesn’t have as many glowing reviews or social media/influencer presence etc, but from what I can tell, it’s a reputable company that makes good products. These skates had higher quality components than the Panthers right out of the box (and for almost the same price). I love the Pulse Lite wheels for feeling secure but efficient on outdoor terrain, the nylon plate is sturdy and light and the boot itself is plenty padded yet easy to break in. Sizing was right on, I’m a 6.5-7 shoe size but around a 9 3/8 in foot and the 6 fit perfect with a little wiggle room in the toe box. The only things I replaced were the insoles with Superfeet hockey performance ones and the stock laces with waxed leopard print. I've skated about 8 times in these 1.5-2 hours each time and think they are great for beginners or someone that wants a solid casual outdoor skate that’s ready to roll.

A little stiff but workable
These skates are truly beautiful. Being an avid skater most of my life (45 years) and owning numerous pairs of skates, these ones are very sturdy and made well. They roll smooth and the wheels are good for both indoor and outdoor skating sessions. The only gripe I have is how hard it is too break them in. They are super stiff around the ankle and when laced all the way up it's super hard to maneuver around. There's no give and is uncomfortable to me. so I don't laced them up all the way i tie them only up to the hooks. I leave the hooks alone and that helps a whole lot when skating backwards or skating around rocks or debris on the street. overall these are pretty and I believe will be a good part of my collection.

Literally THE MOST COMFORTABLE SKATE!
These skates require absolutely ZERO break-in period. These are my 2nd pair of Jackson Vipers and I cannot tell you how fantastic they are. I own 5 pairs of skates, and the Jackson Vipers are by far my go-to boot. I am a 5'11" female with a size 10 running shoe foot. Jackson is true to size, hence I ordered a size 10 and still have enough room to wear thick comfortable socks. I also have very difficult feet -- flat (completely no arch & bunions developing) so for me to say a boot is comfortable, there is no exaggeration. I would suggest you be careful with the skate right out of the box. Check the wheel tightness and truck tightness. My wheels were so tight, I had to have my male neighbor turn the nuts for me. By contrast, the trucks were very loose. It is commonplace to check your skates, so I did not feel negative about this at all. The stock wheels are the very, very best OUTDOOR wheels. These Atom Pulse Lite wheels (62mm) literally push the street debris away from you as you skate. You can see the little pebbles fly away from the wheels, and hear little sticks and leaves crack beneath you. This type debris doesn't even cause a disturbance in your glide whatsoever!! This allows you to stop worrying about taking a serious tumble because of a pebble getting lodged under your truck, and then eating the asphalt. No one needs that. I am also a "seasoned" skater, so a fall is something I seriously DON'T WANT OR NEED in my life. Do your research, but I'm telling you, there is no way you'll be disappointed with these skates. Go for it! Buy these skates! Don't hesitate another second! PS) These wheels, given they are designed for outdoor, still have the agility you need on your transitions. Turns are smooth and flow perfectly! Believe that!

Wonderful skates!
I own both the Finesse and Vista models so here is my combined review: The Mint Finesse are beautiful and comfortable. The material is a textured pvc- easy to wipe clean, but also easy to scuff so if you skate hard, put a toe cover on them! Very supportive boot and an overall good quality skate. The Red Vista skates are more of a sueded microfiber texture so they should be easy to care for. The red color is deeper and more beautiful in person than on screen. The Vista boot is more padded and a bit stiffer than the Finesse boot. I would say (in my novice opinion) the Vista boot is built for more advanced skating where the Finesse are more for beginner or recreational skating. Both models are awesome, imo.

I would recommend
Great skate! It took me two months to decide on a shake. I was looking for one that had soft wheels for outdoors. Other skates say they are indoor and outdoor use which tells me the wheels are not the grade of these. These wheels are designed for sidewalks, road, outdoor use because they have more traction and give. I was a little concerned about the suede but I don't plan on skating in the rain. The color is vivid, it's put together very well. I don't wear socks and these are extremely comfortable inside. I wear a ladies 9 1/2 shoe, without socks. I purchased a size 9 and they fit perfect. If I was going to wear socks then I probably would have got a 9 1/2. In conclusion, they do cost a little more than a lot of skates on Amazon but worth it if you just plan to recreational or exercise outside, around your area.

Love the fitting of this. I used to have my impalas for 2 months but I’m not progressing when it comes to artistic roller skating so I’ve upgraded to the vistas. It’s so light and you can’t feel the floor ( the cracks ). The boot is like a glove it just feels nice. I’m a size 7.5 women but I opt for the 7 and I wear socks too. My feet are wide and this is just absolutely lovely. Purple is my colour so that’s a plus. The only thing that I absolutely disliked was the wheels are so screwed so so so tight that I could not adjust them myself. It took me 2 days to finally get it unscrewed. Pls whoever supplied the JACKSON VISTA roller skates, you don’t need to screw them wheels and tracks crazy tight, coz skaters will and always adjust it in our liking. I just hurt my hand and my wrist because of this that’s why I’m only giving 3 stars. My right hand is still suffering from tremors post adjusting the wheels. But if you have anyone with a strong hand to do it for you pls don’t attempt to adjust it , you’ll just end up like me. I would definitely recommend to use a toe protector to keep your skates looking fab.
