This self inflating sleeping pad is great! I'm a pretty tall guy, 6' 2", so the XL double size is a must for me. I have a different old mat that I've used on backpacking trips before and I've always complained that I had to scrunch up into a fetal position to even stay on the thing for insulation. NOT THE CASE WITH THIS ONE. The inflation process is easy too. I've used other pads that didn't inflate, they were just like a large cushion, I prefer this kind for sure. I like that this one deflates for easy storage. It saves me space in my pack for extra goodies. This pad takes a little while to inflate, so what I usually do is set up camp, lay this baby out, then go work on getting a fire going or have a snack while I wait. I can't complain, its WAY better than sitting there hyperventilating trying to blow up a non-self inflating pad.Overall: I would purchase again. I WILL recommend to friends.

Just what I was looking for to supplement the cushions in the auxiliary bed that that the dinette becomes in my RV, perfect size for it. Really helps too... you now don't feel the 4 separate cushions that make up the mattress. The self inflation works... but may need a bit more air if you like firm. Getting it rolled up and back in the bag is, well, possible I suppose but I couldn't do it... no hope it will ever fit back in the bag. Could just be me, I dunno... I finally picked up a Coleman 12volt air pump and air suction for 13 bucks and that does the trick... all the air comes out and then it rolls up easy, and in the bag.

We got this for our road trip because we planned to sleep in the car to avoid paying for a motel/hotel. The sleeping pad took a little longer than 30 mins to fully inflate. We use our air pump to make the pad more inflated, but without the air pump, the pad is comfortable to lie on. My wife and I have tried the pad and it is definitely better than the pads that I've own so far - with my old ones, we had to put extra padding to feel comfortable. This sleeping pad doesn't require any extra padding to make it more comfortable. They are pretty easy to deflate, roll-up, and store as well. The price for this pad is affordable and I am satisfied with this purchase. Highly recommended.

I own several thermarest self inflating pads but wanted a "cheaper" alternative for family camping. I left this product out for over 1 hour with both valves open and this did not seem to fill up at all, so I resorted to "blowing " it up manually. With this being double wide it took a while. It could be that this will perform better once deflated and letting it "re-inflate" on it's own next time but will have to test. once inflated seems to be ok for cushionfactor and will use only for family car/campground tenting and kids sleep overs. This does not pack down small and is heavy. Will report back after further testing.

Same quality as a Thermarest at a far better price. Perfect size for a small tent floor. When it is closed it is about the same thickness as a rolled luxury base camp mat. I ordered 2 but only 1 of them came with a repair kit, the other repair kit was missing. The seller has agreed to send me a repair kit. Also seller states standard shipping, this usually means usps. I really wish they had clearly indicated that ups was the shipper and not usps, it would have saved me a major hassle. However the xl wide mat is very comfortable and it self inflates easily.

We haven't had it very long but seems to work well. When first came seemed to have a it of padding. It is comfortable. Make sure give time to inflate and may have to inflate it a little on your own. I like how wide it is, and have enough room to move around. It is nice also that height is long so feet don't hang off the edge.

Comfortable and nice size. Didn't realize how impossible it would be to fold up again into a small package.

After sleeping in my car twice, the mattress stretched out and now does not work correctly. Theres a huge bubble, and every time I blow air into the mattress it just fills the stretched out air pocket.
