A sweet rosy essential oil, which has hints of rose. It's not quite like rose essential oil, but rather you get a rose notes. I it's rather like the name suggests. People sometimes use rose geranium as a substitute for rose essential oil (rose is very expensive!) This is a very pure & authentic essential oil. With most their oils, a little dab on a cloth or skin, & the scent lingers for hours noticeably. & There's no hint of synthetic or impurity. As expected from this brand (I've tried many of their oils & essential oils), this is very authentic & high quality & 100% pure. Essential oils are not regulated, so anyone can claim they're 100% natural & pure but be synthetic or partially natural. This is top of the range quality as far as I'm aware. I've been using essential oils for many years & certainly feel they are uplifting & beneficial. Although you have to be careful with them. Never use undiluted on the skin, always with a carrier oil (jojoba, coconut, almond etc) or something such as cream or lotion.. You can use essential oils to bath, aromatherapy diffuser, unscented washing up liquid, as a spray (I add polysorbate 20 so the oil mixes with water), skincare (be careful though, if you put too much or use ones that's not suitable for skin, you can get an allergic reaction). Some people even add them to bucket water & mop the floor! You'll have a beautiful scent throughout the house BUT obviously I don't use expensive ones for this purpose. Or even on a cotton handkerchief & sniff throughout the day to get its benefits! I don't advise heating them under candle or any other way as the heat kills their properties. Unless you just want the scent! Please note: essential oils are not for consumption or to put in food, unless they're labelled: FOOD GRADE. Otherwise dangerous & toxic to ingest them or take internally. Steps to use rose geranium oil for skin: To use rose geranium oil, start by diluting it with a carrier oil, like jojoba, coconut, sunflower seed etc Before applying it to your face, do a patch test with the diluted oil on an small, inconspicuous area on your arm and wait 24 hours to make sure that you don’t have an allergy to rose geranium oil. Mix one to two drops of rose geranium oil for every eight or nine drops of your carrier oil. Apply the mixture to your skin and let it absorb. Rose geranium oil might not be a good base for makeup for stick to, so it might be best if you use it as a part of your nightly routine.

Greenwood’s Rose essential oil is one of my favourites I use it all over my home, great for a lot of things.. I use for.. Mixing a few drops in my carrier oil I can use for massages Mix with other suitable essential oils for pain and well being I use a few drops in my diffuser Obviously dilute, clean the kitchen and en-suite bathroom floor Add a few drops to scent my dried flowers Sprinkle a few drops on my bedding Best of all I use in my washing machine, I pop my washing pods in. Then in the washer draw put some soda Crystals in, then open the rose essential oil up fully. Pour a substantial amount, then turn on. I found I do not have to use artificial conditioner, when this is so much better for the skin, environment, and nice scent. I have been gradually working my way through a whole variety of Greenwood's oils and have been impressed with the quality of them they seem to be of consistently high strength and as far as I can tell seem to be the real deal although there is no regulation of these products and I'm no expert. This Rose Geranium oil is no exception to the good quality and potency I've experienced so far. This is one of the more expensive oils where you pretty much get 10ml for the price that would get you 30ml of many of the more common oils, this is also one of the ones where Greenwood's price is around the same as the bulk of the other good brands (although there are a couple of cheaper brands who also have consistently good quality too). Rose Geranium is similar to standard Geranium, slightly more floral if used for scent but I personally use it in my sciatica blend. I'm not sure for certain if has any major effect on its own, you need to research essential oils and experiment to see if any of it works for you. But with my blend I certainly find they have positive effects for me.

I use this in my atomiser and also oil burner. You only need a few drops and the scent just fills the room, smells of roses and catapults you into a rose garden - but in your living room. I've had Greenwoods essential oils before, and they are always great. As you do only need a few drops, the bottle lasts for ages. £9.99 may seem a hefty price for a little bottle, but it will last ages. I have also dropped a few drops onto the rug in the living room to assist in keeping the doggie smell at bay, and although it's battlign with five of the furry beasts, it does seem to help.

I use my put Rose oil for homemade face masks using bentonite clay. The oil is light in colour and smells quite strongly of Rose and similar to the scent of rosewater but much stronger. It has great properties for skin and hair although I have only used it so far for homemade face masks. I like the feel of my skin after using it and the smell mixed with my other essential oils.
