I already have progressive lenses; this solar shield adds additional protection to sun while driving; it is exactly what I needed!

I had one of these that I found several years ago at a retail store but they had a metal frame around the lenses (this one does not). The old one still works but I wanted to get another one for when it fails. This one does not seem as dark as the other one, and because of the absence of the metal frame around the lenses, the clips are more visible when wearing them that the other one. It is nice to be able to clip them on instead of changing glasses, but these are not what I really expected. It would have helped me to know that they did not have a frame around the lenses, I wold have kept looking.
