My delivery was 3 days late and my address is a bit hard to find so a female driver delivered it after I updated notes from the Amazon logistics company! They got it figured out though and won’t have any other issues and I already sent in the delivery was late to Amazon. About the nice gate, I didn’t even put screws in the cups and I tightened it up in the hallway entrance I don’t want my 2.5 year old son to go in and it is really sturdy, I’ll be putting screws in for extra security. It’s a nice looking easy to install gate and some of the pegs can come out to adjust the gate to the size you need and pressure mount it to the wall. The gate closes behind you and you can push it open more to stay open. I love how the gate pegs can come out as I had to do that to mount it to the wall as I didn’t use all extensions just one peg. The gate is straight and properly tightened and looks great. I used the wrench to tighten it up. I highly recommend the gate to anyone with wide gaps.

It was a struggle to find the right baby gate for the bottom of our stairs, but I’m super glad we came across this one. We wanted a pressure mount gate for the bottom of our stairs, had to be adjustable to different widths at the top and bottom since our stairs have a trim along the bottom edge. So many other gates have complaints on easiness to install, etc. but this gate was great. My reasons for liking it so much are: -Like I mentioned, the top and bottom of the gate can be extended to different widths if you have trim you’re fitting it against. -Super easy to work one handed, I’ve been able to open it over and over again while holding a squirmy baby in one arm just fine. -Love that the gate can be opened wide enough to stay in the open position. -We installed the adhesive wall cups for base of stairs (didn’t screw them in but we would have at the top of the stairs, I wanted a hard mounted gate without a threshold at the top of the stairs though). The wall cups are great if you plan on taking the gate down temporarily for any reason, like between babies if your child learns stairs, moving furniture, etc. but you still can easily put the gate back in the exact same spot. -SO easy to install compared to other gates. We used the adhesive on the wall cups which I like, I’m sure there will be some damage to paint when we remove them but we plan on having more kids and will use the gate on and off for years, so I don’t mind. I’ve heard adhesive to paint can be removed a little easier with a hair dryer, but I haven’t tried it yet. -The installation guide to get the right width is SO EASY compared to other gates, ours fits wonderfully with the first attempt. Super strong, easy to open, easy to install, well built gate that we’re glad to have found.

We've tried EVERYTHING to keep our big rambunctious sheepadoodle confined to the back of the house when we are not home. This gate is easy to install. You can screw it into the wall, or just use the pressure mounts. We decided to try the pressure mounts first, to keep from putting holes in the wall. And it WORKS!! With other gates, he would either knock it down or climb over it. We'd come home and he'd be sitting on the sofa, fine as you please. But this gate is so STURDY and it's extra tall. He can't push it at all, and because of the vertical rails he can't climb over it because there is nothing to put his paws on to boost him over. This gate has literally changed our lives! Please note when you install that the gate will look a little cockeyed where it's supposed to latch. This will self correct when you turn the bolts to adjust the pressure. And we love the walk through part. It closes automatically, or you can open it a bit wider and it will stay open. Perfect in every way. Highly recommend this gate!!!

The pros: These gates are exactly what I needed, which was 2 gates to keep my new dog away from our doorway and out of the kitchen. They're relatively easy to install, if a bit time consuming to install solo. If I had another person helping, I'm sure it would've been much easier and much quicker. I ordered 2 gates, and was happy to discover that the extensions are able to be taken from one set and added onto another if necessary. Our kitchen entryway was small enough to only need the small extension, but our entryway was wide enough to need an extra large extension, and I took it from the second gate and it fits perfectly. The gates close easily, aren't loud (unless you let them swing closed on their own), are quite tall, sturdy, and support the weight of my 38 lb dog when she jumps and leans on them. They're easy to open and we can do so with one hand if necessary. The cons: The adhesive pads for the wall cups are quite strong. This would be a good thing, however they tore paint off of the wall when I needed to reposition the gate and therefore the wall cup. I also had to run to the store to get new mounting tape, as the gates do not come with any extra adhesive pads. The tension mounts also regularly come very slightly loose - not enough to really be noticeable, but enough to where the door can be simply pulled out of the latch without needing to actually pull the latch back. It should be noted that the door still needs to be lifted slightly to open it, but it won't need you to unlatch it first. This issue has caused me to keep one of the provided wrenches next to each gate at all times to re-tighten whenever I notice this. Overall, I am very satisfied with these gates and would recommend them to someone else, with the knowledge of the above cons noted. I think they're a solid purchase and the price is justified.

This works great in my 49 inch opening between my kitchen and foyer. The latch is a little hard to maneuver for my hand but I'm getting quicker with it. Installation was easy.

Very sturdy, extremely easy to fit to doorway. I am very happy with this product. (FYI this model does not include a rubber ramp as other models do)

Es firme y resistente. Solo le tuve que poner esa tela pues la intención era impedir el paso de gatos y son muy flexibles, si pasaban a través de las barras. Adjunto foto de la infractora 🐈

Compre el producto Summer Infant Puerta de Seguridad para Bebés, para Escaleras, Puertas y Espacios Anchos, 29.5-53 Inch, Gris/Rojo. Y requiero de 2 extensiones una de 33.5" X 38" (alto) y otra de 41.5" X 38" (alto). Como puedo hacer para comprarlas?

It’s a good quality gate, no sharp edge (I have tried other brands that require sanding cuz it will cut my baby’s fingers). The installation is easy, fit perfectly. But this gate only open on direction and it is not easy to open it. I would say it’s good in a way that no way my child can open the gate, but then I won’t be able to hold my child while opening the gate as it requires two hands to open and lift up the gate to open it. Overall I am happy with the gate. At least I don’t have to sand or worry about my child getting hurt.
