Saints Row Day One Edition

This game is brilliant, the people who review it badly just don’t understand the wacky physics and randomness is part of the fun of the saints row franchise!! It’s an amazing game!

Not to shabby around the edges!

To be honest i knew this game was going to be horrible just because they tried so hard to be like Watch Dogs 2 and Just Cause along with other big title games.Watch dogs 1 & 2 - had a boring story with great gameplay!Just Cause - has some ok stories to tell and great gameplay!Saints Row 2022 - boring story, boring gameplay! but a nice looking open world.To be fair not much new free roaming games around that's exactly why i bought this game.So it's not like i didn't know what i was getting before making the purchase but it's more like i had time to spare so let me check the game out to see if i can at least like something about the game other than its open world scenery alone.I've completed around 97% of this game and i must say it is utterly one of the worst runs i've ever done broadcasting this game for other members of the public to see what it was like. I've ran into several bugs that prevent me from progressing my completion of this game. I will not even bother speaking about the story of this Saints Row ripoff! I would've much preferred if Saints Rows last game was Gat Outta Hell even though it sucked! But they kept milking the brand and now its paying the price with these gender neutral hipsters that look like they cannot handle a pen and paper.With the exception of Nahualli all the characters in this game are so bland but then again i guess DSV wanted to make characters relating to Gen Zs so these characters are obviously pretending to like things they don't have a taste for just so they look and feel interesting in a social dialect.Of course the only thing i like in Saints Row 2022 is the character Nahualli! This is quite messed up as i've never really liked a character single handed without liking a game but this marks the first time. Is it ok for me to say that the entire time i played Saints Row 2022 the time i spent with Nahualli was the best time i had in game as his personality was far more than my own character and all the others combined. So when i was forced to try and kill Nahualli i was literally rooting for him to kick the dookie out of me! But when i defeated him i went back to a boring sandbox with nothing to do.For those of the player base that compare this SR ripoff to GTA V need to stop trying to compare!Any 1 pedestrian in GTA V has more character and likability than this here game Saints Row 2022!Pros:The Nahualli (character)Nice looking big open world(Options) Slide meters to help you combat your experienceVehicles handle really well.Wanted AppCons:StoryCharacter customizing optionsAll the characters even your own except for the Nahualli, are dull and have no personality.Clothing options as they all seem far too tight (spent my entire playthrough in shorts & flip flops)Boring pedestrians, hardly anyone speaks!Atmosphere sounds cut in and outOne weather system, sandstorm and dust storm i guess making raining weather was too hard for them.A currency system with very limited things to buy such as Weapons, Weapon upgrades, Vehicle upgrades and clothing items along side the adornment accessories.The game is forced political correctness considering how the game was said to be more realistic. I see the future of games to be more like this game here.I cannot be bothered to type anymore because it will just make me seem like a villain, and i don't really want to hurt anyones feelings -_-

I can't say this is the worst game I ever played but it certainly isn't among the best. From the trailers I was expecting something along the lines of a funny version of GTA5 online. There was supposed to be huge amounts of customisation and varied gameplay but what there is are repetitive missions and limited customisation beyond the initial character creation. Within about two hours I had the fastest sports cars, motorbikes and all the clothing I wanted for my character and the rest of my time was spend grinding through repetitive missions and business set ups for little reason. The only saving grace is the slight moments of comedy and initial couple of hours of enjoyment. If I had waited and picked this up for £5 in a second hand shop I would possibly rate it higher. Unfortunately it's not worth the price tag I paid for it....it's like paying £25 for Pac man....you may not hate the game but you would have that same dirty feeling of being ripped off.

I have been an average fan of saints row from the beginning, Although they lost me a bit when they started to get completely wacky with game like get out of he'll, which I did not play I was so hoped for the reboot of one of my favourite franchises. I didn't want to believe any of the bad reviews for this game so bought it in the hope it was not the train wreck people were saying it was.

Probably would of been decent if it came out 10+ years ago. Very slow, buggy and old/blurred looking graphics and the features just work when they want to. Gameplay & story isn’t very good either. Money wasted. Traded it in the very next day.
