Very good passive glasses
When I purchased my LG 47" 3D LED for the bedroom I got 10 pairs of the "cheap" LG theater style glasses "free". The "free" LG glasses are better than the movie theater ones as they are a little less obtrusive and a little lighter. However they still have the obnoxious frame that is in your vision all the time. It doesn't "block" your vision of the screen any but is a little irritating. My other 3D TV's use "Active" 3D glasses and while they work fine on those TV's and the quality of the other TV's may be "better", I find myself watching most 3D content on the LG simply because the glasses are that much lighter and that much less a pita.Only issue I had was the FRAMES of the "free glasses". I am not some one who expects the moon in every experience and am realistic in my expectations. I will say though that I was irritated with the frames and could not understand why no one made "nicer" passive glasses. (Did see on gadget sites that people were coming out with "designer" passive glasses but were going to be $$$$). Well I was in Best buy and saw some fairly nice "aftermarket" passive glasses for $40. Still kind of bulky frames butmore curved and "stylish" and from wearing sunglasses like those I knew the frames would be less obtrusive.Looked up "aftermarket" passive 3D glasses on Amazon and did some research and purchased these. They are EXCELLENT. Very stylish, frame is minimal and IMO about the best you can get to non-obtrusive. Good build quality and with Prime, very fast shipping. YES the lenses ARE "flimsy" to a point because of the material, but exactly like all passive glasses and being "curved" you shouldn't be rough with them while cleaning. No imperfections with my glasses and great quality..will be buying more sets of these.

Stylish, but flimsy lenses
I bought these to use with my LG LW6500 set. They work fine: I guess about as good as the LG glasses. They're stylish and the wraparound helps to block out ambient light which I like. I only gave 3 stars because I expected these to have better, more durable lenses for the price. The lenses are about as thick as the plastic on a 35mm slide: they bend easily between your fingers when you use a lens cleaning cloth very lightly on the lenses. I also noticed a couple of small imperfections in the lenses which look like tiny "air bubbles" in the plastic. The glasses came that way and were there before I even tried to wipe them with the lens cleaning cloth. Under close inspection, you can tell that it is an imperfection in the thin plastic of the lenses. There are only a couple of these tiny spots though and they are off to the side and won't affect viewing so I'm not going to complain. Just don't expect these to have thicker/better lenses like sunglasses.

Buyer Beware
Just ordered these and I am going to immediately return them. As pointed out in another review here....poor quality and the lenses came with flaws in them making them unusable. I would not order again even if the lenses were not flawed as the overall quality is terrible and I expect they glasses would fall apart after only a couple viewings. The quality is equal to the flimsy red/blue glasses you got with cheap movies in the 80s. Would be one star, but I liked the idea behind the wrap around frame...still not worth the price ($29 currently)

For what they do, these are steller 3D glasses. Don't expect eyeglass quality frames or lenses
After reading some of the reviews here, you might be tempted to pass on these 3D glasses. Dont! They do one thing and do it EXTREMELY well, they get out of the way. By that I mean that the wrap around lenses are set in such a way that it maximizes your field of view. That's a crucial factor in the immersive experience of 3D technology. These are not eyeglass quality lenses OR frames and they don't claim to be. However, when you compare them to the stock glasses you got with your TV (or to the ones you took snuck home from the theater), you will be completely satisfied and blown away by the difference that this design makes possible.Highly recommend them for Vizio TVs with passive 3D.

BEST 3d glasses I own.
At home or even at the theater these are the best I have used. I do bring them to actual theaters and have gotten questions and compliments. Sadly the optics themselves are the plastic film and not actual glass, so they likely will not last forever and may get scratched. but I keep them in a nice felt bag. They wrap around and work so much better then theater glasses. Use them at home with your 3d TV, or at the Imax! Highly recommend.

Used products!
I have ordered this twice! Both times the product is incomplete!!! There is no carry bag included and it says on the box that is supposed to be in there. The first one came with only one arm covered, They have these little plastic sleeves on each arm when packaged. Obviously these are returns being resold or just really bad quality control in packaging. The problem is I can not get it replaced, I have to get a refund send it back and get a new one sent. Ridiculous! Very disappointed as I ordered this as part of my son's birthday present. I was embarrassed twice now as he looked in the package to find things missing!!!

As good as what you get with the Tv
They look cooler, and are lighter, but provide no significant advantage in terms of viewing area than what usually comes with the the tv. This is was for a passive 3D tv.

Paper clips and plastic wrap
These glasses are trash! If you can find them for $1, I could say ok. Make yourown at home and it would be an upgrade from these. There are not lenses in these,it is just thin plastic barely stapled to the frame. The frame has the consistanceyof thick tin foil. Plastic film, which are suppose to be the lenses, is already fallingoff and only used them twice. Can't believe I actually used them the second time.
