Till now, it seems an OK DVR till I get a new security camera (5MB with TVI, CVI, AHD, and CVBS (PALL/NTCS). It worked with CVBS option color and CVI option black and white.The documentation came with the DVR is not good enough. You were assumed to know all the technical feature of TVR world to configure and setup your device.

Get this one. Just know that you will need to buy a hard drive if you don't intend on using cloud as it does not come with one. The mouse works with a bluetooth dongle, so you can leave the unit locked away and operate it remotely through the HDMI cable, which I have plugged into a television in the house. This makes it easy to flip the channel to the unit to look at whatever goes bump in the night. Great unit. Runs faithfully with no-fuss, unlike my computer based cameras I had in the past. Also, VERY happy with the BNC hard wired camera setup as it is WAY more reliable that the POE ethernet cameras I have had. Get this unit and harwire BNC cameras with burial cable with power, such as RG59+Power Siamese Cable. You can get 1,000 feet of it for $179 and you won't have flaky IP cameras that cut out every time there's a thunder storm or a network blip. Also, the app works great on my andoid and apple (yeah, I have both).

This is my second unit. The first one the video went out. Returned with no problems. The second unit the VGA port went out. Keeping unit as the HDMI port still works. I wouldn't buy the unit again.

Worked great for four months! Not so much after that. The unit does not turn on, it stopped working for no apparent reason. Very disappointed!
