Quiet opener
Great opener so far, it is very quiet and smooth operation. Do not like that the instructions are only available on bilt. Absolutely should have paper instructions in the box (my husband is not a fan of digital instructions) . That being said instructions were easy to follow and my husband and I were able to install without issues.

The unit was a dream to install and works so good!
I replaced an older chain driven Chamberlain opener with this new unit with battery back up and wifi so I didn't have to replace the rails or chain or anything. I just removed the old unit and used the 2 bolts to bolt the new unit to the rail and put it back in place and then adjust the travel limits up and down and I was up and going. The unit is very quiet and it moves quickly also. One thing I did learn. The new unit has a yellow learn button which is different than my older unit's purple learn button. They are 2 different frequencies so I had to buy a few more remote that I like to mount to the wall of my garage to be able to open and close the door in various locations. The wifi is very slick and I love being able to use my phone to open and close the door from anywhere and also can check on the status of the door whether open or closed. The MyQ app allows you to give access to your friends or family in order to share the use of the door remotely. I had dreaded the "project" of replacing my old opener but the project went 100 times smoother than I would have dreamed. I wish I had done this years ago to get to the newer technology.

Very quiet motor, compatible with existing hardware
Switching out a garage door motor is right up there with replacing a toilet on the list of least-favorite DIY jobs. But in both cases there’s a lot of satisfaction to be had afterward. The motor installation could in theory be done by one person, but realistically it’s a task for two. There seems to be a lot of standardization among garage doors, so early on we decided to simply swap out the motor and use the existing ceiling mount, chain and pole. That worked out fine. The motor is super quiet compared with its predecessor. The remote was easy to register, but it seemed a bit parsimonious to only include one. We bought a pair of generic ones for a fraction of the OEM price for extras, and the generic ones were hooked up in seconds. So all in all it was a good purchase, seems like a reasonable price for all the hardware, just would have been happier with a second or even third remote included.

Solid garage door opener
Definitely tedious to install but thats just the nature of garage door openers. Only issue I had with this opener was that the door could not go all the way down with the carrier stop in place so I bent that out of the way to get the desired distance to close. Works excellent and for the price it cannot be beat. Very quiet and seems like it will last. Connection to MyQ was super easy even with low wifi signal out at my detached garage

A WOW on how well the garage door opener works!
Alot of reviewers noted how whisper quiet this thing is and they were right! I installed the door opener myself using the BILT APP and using the app was fantastic! Here are some tips before you begin for a easier install. 1. Using the BILT APP, If you have a tablet, use that instead of your mobile phone for the install. Scan the QR code on the box, install the APP and it will straight away take you to the install instructions for this garage door opener. 2. Before you begin, run through the entire installation on the APP. This will give a very good idea of what you will be doing before you begin and also verify that you have all the parts you need. 3. Ease of install with BILT App: Good 4. Price point: Good 5. Quality: Some plastic parts that probably should have been metal. Time will tell. 6. MYQ app works well and easy to setup once installed, however no instructions in the box on how to add your garage door opener to MYQ. You will need to go the MYQ app and Add new device to pair your garage door opener to the APP. From there it works like a charm. UPDATE - 4-5-2025 - Kncoking off 1 start. Installed second garage door opener today on a TWO DOOR CAR GARAGE. First install was 1 car door no issues. The cable on the sensors is not long enough. Was short about 1 foot. CHAMBERLAIN, add a couple of feet to the wire on the sensors and if needed up the price but SHORT wire. Not acceptable. I had to use the BELL WIRE that comes in the box for the wall switch, that I did not need to use, and spliced it onto the sensor cable. RED WHITE to BLACK WHITE and WHITE to WHITE. No issues. Would have preferred a clean install. I HIGHLY recommend !

Easy upgrade to existing opener
Found it fairly easy to install and setup following directions. Am impressed with how smooth it operates. Love the way it slows down inches before travel should end. Love how quiet it is. Do not like the fact you only get one remote. I hate this technology that tries to put every app on cell phone. People dont stop driving to open and activate the app. I can see many doors getting hit. Lost power. It was great to be able to open door with the installed battery. Really nice

Bad instructions
Door opener works and I must say it is quiet. If the directions do not match up I hate it and that is the case here. You must do the instructions on your phone or iPad. I had a portion where it would not go correct order. Finally got through everything from install standpoint. Can not get a Chamberlin remote to program. New battery. We've tried at least ten times but does not work following directions step by step.

Garage door didn't work at all. I didn't get new rails, therefore ordered Chamberlain box again. Hope it will work at the end.
