Door Bar Pro AIO-XL Steel Door Security Bar - Fits Any Width Inswing Double French Doors from 49" to 84" Wide

I researched tons of products from securing through the wood floor, to inner mounted brackets on the door but they were not practical because the they were hard to implement and needed several products to ensure a kick wouldn't defeat a floor only option, or top of door option. The bar is extremely thick gauge metal and adjustable to fit our double doors to the master bedroom. We have a big house and when I'm traveling, this product makes me not worry about my wife being home alone, of course we have a home alarm and cameras inside and out of the home but this makes sleeping at night a worry free experience. I would recommend this product to anyone who would like a piece of mind in knowing that they are truely secure. The install was easy too, I used a battery powered screw driver with my drill bits to pre-hole the channel for the bolts which are nice and thick gauge. It took me 35 mins to install while my wife was on the bed sleeping.

It's a strong bar, but I used it outside to block some steps. It doesn't have a lock to keep it on but for a inside door it would be perfect. More strength than one would probably need. Well built..

Love these. Have installed two, one for each of my French doors. After having to listen to a police radio every day for 5 months that belonged to the guy building an addition for me, I realized that I probably need more security than a dead bolt on my French doors. Especially with the French doors, I realized I probably could easily break in through these doors. Didn't take long for me to install; instructions were clear and with a drill, screw driver and wrench I was secure in less than 15 minutes. Only thing that kept me from installing it as soon as the first package arrived was not having the huge drill bit needed. Doubt I will ever use that bit again, but small price to pay for security. Debating whether I should get the regular size ones for other doors....Just takes a couple of minutes to put the bar on each night.

This was very easy to install and provides a good measure of security. It would take a lot of kicking or shoulder pushing to defeat this bar.

Nicely designed security bar to reduce the risk of a door being kicked in. Very easy to install; took less than 10 minutes.

With this product I solved a problem of securely locking a basement double-door in my home.

I never take the time to leave a review; however, I thought this product warranted it. It was well-made and very sturdy. Much thicker gauge steal than I imagined. Installation was easy. Product included a very nice Bosch 5/8 inch wood bit to use in a drill for installation. Thorough instructions. I’ve always had a little concern about the security of my French doors because they generally aren’t too hard to kick in by design. My wife feels MUCH safer now when I’m out of town. Well worth the $150 price tag.
