Cool
When I first got my Macbook Pro, I knew I'd need some sort of cover for my keyboard. My fingertips get pretty sticky sometimes! :P Anyways, getting it in the mail, I first thought the seller messed up my item. I thought, "Darn it! They gave me a black keyboard cover." But when I brought the product closer to the light, I realized that it really was purple. This purple color is pretty dark - just the way I like it. I wasn't into getting anything too flashy, but I didn't want black, so I settled on this keyboard cover. It was inexpensive and a very simple color. Anyways, it does it's job of keeping my keys clean as well as crumbs out of the little cracks. However, I noticed that it leaves prints, similar to finger prints, on my screen from opening and closing my mac. That got pretty annoying, so now I keep a paper in between my screen and keyboard to prevent it. It's not too much of a problem, but if you like your screen to be spotless, then beware. Another thing I noticed about this product is that after a while, it kind of stretched out in a way. It's hard to explain, but basically there's something like a bubble near my space bar - a spot where the keyboard cover just won't fit so smugly. I'm not sure why it's like that; I mean I never stretched it, nor do I ever take it off my keyboard! Weird, but I guess you just have to get used to it. This product definitely does its job, but has some minor, unimportant issues that can be easily ignored. I think the issues I've ran into are just due to usage and time.

Fine
I like this keyboard protector well enough.Although it's not a 100% perfect fit, it's a good fit and I don't see double; as another reviewer stated.I am able to type although it does slow me down a little since the keys are not as defined. Also, I've noticed the white letters (on top of the purple) rub off on the computer screen. I was able to clean it off, but still...My biggest complaint is that I realized I cannot tell whether the Caps Lock is triggered or not; the dot over the green light is really not transparent and the only way I can tell by looking at the keyboard is by looking at a reflection that occurs under the "tab" button. However, I think it will do the job I want it to do - protect the keys and, most of all, protect the area below from crumbs, debris, etc. (which was an issue on my old white Macbook).I do recommend this product to protect your Macbook Pro.

Great product for the price!
I purchased this because I wanted to protect my keyboard but didn't want to spend too much. This was in my favorite color plus it was CHEAP so I decided to try it out. It arrived within 2 days and I have to say that I love the way it looks! The color is exactly as pictured but sometimes it looks lighter/darker in different lighting. Also it was very thin and laid down flat and perfectly. The f3 and f4 keys do not reflect the same picture as the newest MBP keyboards but it still reflects the same functions (Launchpad & Dashboard). Some reviewers talked about seeing double when the backlight is on but I don't see this. The letters itself don't light up but the light shines from around the keys if that makes sense. Typing feels weird for now (I've only had it for a day) but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon. My overall thoughts are that this is a nice, cheap way to protect your keyboard and for the price, it's definitely worth a try.

perfect fit!
**UPDATE** almost a year later and this baby is still in perfect condition. I have only taken it off to clean the keyboard, which honestly didn't need much cleaning. This cover still fits perfectly in place. I don't even have any faded letters/numbers ext, and I am religiously on my laptop. So this keyboard cover is not exactly the same color as pictured. The one in the picture is kind of like a bright magenta or pinky-purple color, but the color you ACTUALLY get is like a dark lilac, lighter magenta BUT with saying that, it's very very pretty and i am satisfied. THIS IS NOT PINK, you can tell it's purple. Fits perfectly within the divots of the keyboard, although i wish it were a little more sunken in, if that makes any sense. i type normally, and it feels nice and smooth on my fingers. i can still press in my keys just like before. Really like this, and the price is what made me give it a 5!

Great Product
So this is mainly to the girls who are planning to buy this product. I bought it for my sister as a birthday gift and she was so happy to get it, because this is a great color and also it manages to save all the dirt from entering your keys and the space between the keys. For all of you who eat and drink while studying this cover protects the keys from having things dropped onto it and prevents from damaging the keys. To wash it just put it in water and scrub it and it is washed. This is very helpful especially for college and high school students who have late nights and need food while studying, I am one and I know how a similar product has saved my computer keys millions of times.Happy studying

It does protect your keyboard...
So I ordered this and the shipping was a little on the slow side. That aside, I noted some reviewers said that the keyboard skin didn't quite match up with the keys in terms of the lights that shine through the MacBook Pro keyboard. I agree - the letters don't match up exactly but I touch type and hardly look at the keyboard so that wasn't such a big deal. However, the symbols for the FN keys don't quite match up. This keyboard skin must have been designed for Leopard or Snow Leopard, because my MacBook Pro is new (less than a month old) and is running Lion - so the symbols on the FN keys aren't quite right. This might be a problem for someone who primarily uses the keyboard to access Launchpad, Mission Control, or the Dashboard. As to the keyboard skin, it stays in place, has a bit of a dry feeling, and doesn't impede typing. I have pets, so my primary reason for purchasing a keyboard skin was to prevent fur getting under the keys. If you're looking for a keyboard skin, check first if it matches the current OS.
