I am a physician and have used many scopes. This is not a professional quality scope. It also does not cost 200 bucks. in the hospital, scopes have a habit of growing legs and walking off. i bought this for a cheap, low risk trial option to carry in the hospital, that if stolen wouldn't be such a loss. It fills this role perfectly. It is a great little scope for <20 bucks and ith the purchase of more speculae (tips) it found a permanent place in my white coat. It only provides about 75% the quality of a typical medical scope and obviously there is no instrumentation through it, but for parental use, or in-home use this is a great item. I can recommend without hesitation.

Perfect fit. Comes with a lot so you can change it out when it’s too dirty, or replace if it falls off and gets lost.

Fit perfectly on my otoscope. Always use a new one when I check my sons ears to keep the chances of infection out. These are fantastic.

I purchased the otoscope for a mission trip to Haiti. The price was excellent and I hoped to buy more. I wanted to be sure ear drums were visible as some reviews were negative. I know a pediatrician who had worked examining elder's ears also. I had him check my ears. He said it worked fine and ear drum was visible. I am ordering more today.

Very useful in my professional medical kit. The light could be brighter.

These work well but they are a little too big to use in a young child's ear. My 4 year old complains it hurts. I can view the eardrum well with these so my only complaint and reason for a lower review is because my kids complain these hurt and are uncomfortable.
