Perfect for the price

This power supply is currently sitting on my front porch powering my roof's Christmas lights. It's working great. Silent and no overheating issues. All of the lights and the controller are powering on and functioning the way they're supposed to. I haven't measured the output to see if it holds voltage at higher amperages, but for my purposes it's doing exactly what I need.

Update Replaced under warranty. Mount location should drain. Very high quality appearance and structure. Voltage and power is spot on. It does get hot. Durability has yet to be tested as it is installed only a few days for LED lights. 12 months later not so water proof and subject to corrosion.

Bought to replace frequently failing transformers for LED 5050 colored lights. The black plastic ones were failing every time we had a small storm. I have a whole house surge guard and these are the only things that fail. This is proving to be a much more durable replacement to power these lights in my kitchen. It releases heat amd deals with micro surges just fine for a spring season so far where others have failed. Note that I am well under the supported wattage and this makes a difference as well.

I would rate this NEGATIVE!!!! I Installed this for some customers and went back to do service and the LED DRIVERS were too hot they were about to explode!!!! DONT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL!!!!

Cut out my outdoor transformer/ timer that was 25 years old, put the amp in line and added an outdoor timer at VIOLA! I have lights! Later that night, lights did not go on. Just came inside from fixing the problem. The timers plug kept popping out of the outlet. Fixed that( hopefully), screwed in the amp to a post and all tested well. Now for nighttime to see if I have lights
