Morph Pillow Best Travel Pillow for Airplanes, Car, Train or Power Nap

So, when I first ordered this pillow, it was not expanding properly, so I contacted amazon and they sent out a replacement, and told me to send the other back. I got the replacement today, it seemed to be expanding better than the last one, so I left it on my bed for about 5-10 minutes to finish expanding while I went to make a quick lunch, and then I was gonna try it out. WARNING: If you have dog they might mistake this for a toy! My dog had never touched a pillow before so I did not even think to put this somewhere out of her reach, but within that short amount of time she had broken the zipper open and ripped chunks out of the foam on the inside. I guess she thought it was for her since it is shaped vaguely toy like.I gave this three stars because of the trouble with the first one, and because it was so easy for the zipper to be broken by my dog. Yes, I am aware this wasn't made with dogs in mind, but considering you are supposed to attach the strap to the zipper I would have expected it to be a bit more heavy duty. I think I would have liked this pillow had I gotten a chance to use it, but alas, I shall never really know now.

I'm a frequent traveler and passionate napper who has hated every travel pillow I've ever tried, so I was really excited to try this new take on portable pillows. Initially, Amazon sent me an older model of the Morph Pillow--it had no strap; and maybe the memory foam was old or defective, because it didn't expand when I took it out of the bag, leaving the pillow lumpy and kind of useless. Brian at Morph Pillow was super helpful, though. He explained that Amazon's fulfillment center had a few old models lying around and sent me one of those by accident--and then he sent me a new one, free of charge, strap included. It arrived today, and it's delightful--suuuuuper soft, but also supportive, and the logos on the strap are made of that grippy stuff to help keep it in place. I've tried it sitting in chairs at home; the pillow is way comfy, and the strap actually works really well to keep it in place. I'm traveling this weekend, so I'll update after that. So far, though, I'm sold--an affordable, cleverly-designed, comfy pillow that you can actually fit in your bag, made by a company that's impressed me with its commitment to customer satisfaction.

I fly at least every week, and have tried many other pillows. (Neck brace type head supports, U shaped pillows, head forward on the tray pillows, regular pillows of all sizes, inflatable pillows, etc.), and many flights later, this is the only one that is still in my bag. It is small enough to fit anywhere, fluffs up in seconds, and perfectly fits the space between my head and my shoulders. It is perfect for leaning against the window in a window seat, or for placing behind my head if I’m in a aisle or center seat. I can place it behind my back, shoulders or anywhere else I need a cushion. I have even several times slept on it when I get a whole row to myself and can lie down. It is not in my way when I’m not using it, and I don’t have to decide whether to take my exercise clothes or a giant pillow in my travel bag.

I don't usually write reviews and typically, if I don't like a product, I just send it back for refund. I had received the pillow without the strap. Was kinda bummed because the pillow was so soft and comfortable but didn't stay put under my neck. It is also a good travel size pillow compared to the big U-shape neck pillows. For me, I don't care for the blow up ones. I prefer something that gives a little more and is soft. This is the one! So receiving the pillow with the missing strap was a huge disappointment. Buuut, since I liked it so much I decided to contact the seller and let him know about the mishap. I sent a simple email and he responded promptly and was very polite and kind. Great customer service! He's open to all feedback good and bad. Genuine customer service goes such a long way. I felt so much better about buying the pillow and he was able to send me a strap and fixed the whole situation. It also turned out that I received an old model of the pillow that would make it difficult to attach the strap, so Brian also sent me the correct NEWER model of the pillow!!! It's comfy because it's memory foam. I bought this for flying and it wasn't good for that. It's round and black so guess how many times I had to ask others if they had seen my pillow on the floor and use my phone's flashlight to locate it? Not good. Let alone having to try and clean the airplane floor junk off it!If you're on the window side of the plane the curve means there's a gap that the ball easily falls down. Dropping the ball is not a problem when you are contained in a car, but bad on a plane. :(I'm thinking about cutting some of the foam so it's not as round to see if it stays in place better.

Finally a great back pillow small enough for travel. I have looked forever and wasted money on more traditionally looking travel pillows. I put it in small of my back where it provides just right support and move it every 30 min or so slightly up and down my spine. At hotel when I do my stretches I put it in small of my back on floor. I don't use it for my neck/head because I never sleep on planes but it is also nice flor my elbow to rest on. Bonus it is small enough to take even on domestic flights where space is a premium. Well done to the manufacturers of this. I am buying more for my family.

I love that this squishes down really small, and I love the fabric on it, and how comfortable it is. The only reason I'm knocking it down one star is because it will roll right out from under your head. I wish it was an oblong shape instead of a ball, so it would roll less side to side. It works great if you wrap your arm around it and then use it, but that position can be hard to pull off on an airplane.

This pillow expands to a usable size (fills the gap between your ear and neck) and actually provides some support. Really fantastic! The packable nature of it is gravy on top. So much better than those c-shaped neck pain inducers that merely bear witness to your attempts to catch some rest while traveling.
