Sturdy. Not a flimsy raft. A family favorite.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very sturdy and comfortable. We use this in a lake and it’s perfect. This is the 2nd one we have purchased.

Love this float!
My kids LOVE this float! Three small or two kids fit easily with plenty of room to move about. They love climbing all over it and and have turned it into a battleship, a floating island, and a number of other creative things. I'm getting ready to order a second one so they can have competitions when their cousins or friends are visiting. (And someday I hope to be able to use it too!)^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Okay - it's now been a few months since we've had two of these floats, and the kids are in heaven. The whole neighborhood is here some days - it's amazing how many kids can fit on these! And I'm in heaven too!! Last month I was finally able to have a few hours alone in the pool while the gang was out for the day. WHAT A FABULOUS FLOAT!!! First, it is extremely easy to "board". Just plop yourself on it and float away- no slipping off while trying to get your balance. It is so roomy you can turn over without getting off the float and into the water. There's plenty of room to put a can of soda (or whatever) in one of the pockets and have easy access to it. You can also sit up easily too and ride it in a half-sitting up position.I can't say enough good things about this float - especially if you're a middle-aged woman like myself who enjoys relaxing on the water, listening to some good music, soaking up some rays, etc. (I'm sure men would love it too!)Can't wait for the kids to go back to school so I can have the pool - and the float! - to myself all week!

Needs additional inflation after 40-60 minutes. Would buy again at this $30+/- price
Downgraded from 4 star to 1 star. Do not buy. Lasted one month and leaked the whole time, finally would not hold air at all. No leak found that I could fix. The inflation valve leaked but there was probably an additional leak.My earlier review the first week:Grandkids are enjoying it. Works as you would expect. Need to add air after 45 minutes or so of vigorous grandkid use, but I cannot identify any specific leak. Overnight gets a little soft. Adding air means just blowing into the valve for about 1-2 minutes, firms up OK.Not nearly as nice as my previous near identical float that lasted 4 years (14g vinyl) of very rough grandkid use, but that float now costs more than twice as much as this one. 4 years ago the prices were almost the same.

THE Most Comfy Air Mattress You'll Ever Own
The only reason I would give this floatie 4 stars and not 5 is because it takes an insane amount of time to blow it up. I used a hand pump and my mouth, alternately, and it felt never-ending. But once I did get it blown up it lasted the entire summer and it's still blown up in my backyard, and it's November. It really is perfect for 2 people, big or small. My husband and I are both in desperate need of some diet and exercise, and we were able to comfortably float on it together with no loss of air or drooping. And let me tell you something... this air mattress is literally the most comfortable one I have ever laid on, EVER. I have a Tempurpedic mattress and it rivals that for comfort. I completely passed out on it on multiple occasions because it's that darn comfortable. I have major back/shoulder/arm/wrist issues and I could lay on this mattress in any position and I was in heaven. I've never measured it but I have a hard time believing it's actually 78" long because I'm only 5'6" and I don't think there's a lot of room leftover at my feet. Whatever, doesn't change the comfort level and that's why I gave it 5 stars.

I am not the only one that got a defective product. EDITED
Yesterday, I finally killed myself, blowing up this mattress"ONE air pocket, no separate chambers", the weather was warm but too windy, so I had to wait till today "92" perfect for pool.Well, as other people here said,....mine was also flat, it lost all air since yesterday......From what I read, Seller forces you to pay return shipping which is expansive. All of us here are to some extend disabled, I thought I would do something nice and get this big one, so my neighbor who has only one leg left and is overweight, would be comfortable and not roll of..I am really disappointed..EDITED 7-15-15I revised this to 4 stars .While originally the mattress was not holding AIR, I found the culprit to be the Air valve itself, the reverse flow does NOT block off as they normally do and that can push the nozzle back up which let's the air out. This seems to have broken in now, the nozzle actually stays submerged into the air pocket which it did not do in the beginning.I love the space of this .

Dimensions misleading
It is a pool raft. It inflates properly. It looks like the picture. However, the specs say it is 78“ x 28“. Inflated it is 66 inches long.

Double Mattress Float? All Day. Literally.
I ordered this as a present for my stepmom for her birthday (which is in October). We live in Arizona so I figure there was still enough time for her to get decent usage out of the thing before it needs to be put away for the winter. Her pool was recently just completed, and this has been the time she has been dreaming of. I thought this would make a great gift. She can lay on it on her own with lots of room if she wants to have a book or a drink she can place in the holes. Or she can lay on it with my dad. She absolutely loves the thing. I think that the pillows that are attached are a really nice touch and set this apart from other lounge floats. Also this is the size of a double mattress (literally) so it has so much space. If you have a large pool, this will do you well. I think it would overwhelm a smaller pool though. Definitely a wise birthday gift on my part. Kudos to me and a very happy birthday she had. She told me she was on the thing for about 6 hrs.
