- All of our pickguards ship with a protective masking on the front of the guard to protect it from general handling and installation. When the pickguard arrives it may have a "ratty", scratched or rough looking appearance. Rest assured, the rough appearance is only on the masking and when it is peeled off you'll have a pristine looking pickguard.
- Professional installation is recommended*Being more brittle than ABS material pickguards, care must be taken when installing your acrylic pickguard on the guitar. Over stressing/rough handling may cause it to crack. The material is also not scratch proof. With normal use it will acquire normal pickguard swirling marks like on many other standard pickguards.
