This worked way better than I expected it too. I did practice several times on a piece of foam to get the trigger motion right. I was able to reopen a closed piercing, no pain, and healed well.

It does what it’s supposed to do, and the fact that you can had 2 earrings loaded into it is great. Only thing I can complain about is that it is a bit difficult to see what you’re doing when you’re the one piercing your own ear lol. But other than that I say go for it!!
