This is a fabric backdrop - think fabric shower curtain material. It has two large grommet holes for hanging and I put a command strip on the back of each one and that worked like a dream. The picture is not blurry and it's a great size. It does have a smell when it comes out of the package - my daughter said "It even smells like the ocean!" but it seemed to dissipate after it was out for awhile.

Magnificent! Has 4 string holes on each corner. Sturdy, too! Didn’t expect it to be as long as my dining table. I love it!
