In my opinion the unit does work decent and is made very well. I don't see why it should not last for several years of operation. The only negative that I can say about the unit is it's brightness. I do have the newer LED version and if you are placing other decorations in your yard that need illumination from spot lights or bright string lights they do take away from the "Flurry" effect. You will still see the light being omitted from the projector, but it is very weak and faded no matter how you adjust the system. If you shut down any other spot lights or light sources around the yard then the Flurry projector does a really good job. So for the shear fact that it could be a little brighter I will give this product a 4 out of 5 star rating.

This a disco ball that you shine on your house instead of a ballroom. My wife and I tried for an hour (it''s cold) could not get any respectable effet. Fine didn't work for us maybe it will for someone else so we decided to return it, it cost us $38 at the least expensive rate so added to the cost we initially paid for it this was a very expensive experiment. In the past when I returned things that did not suit me I was never charged return freight and expected the same. Read the small print.

Wasn't as bright as I thought it'd be, but it worked well. One downside was that we had it hooked up to a remote controlled outlet and set it to the blue lights, but it always started on the first setting (red, not as bright) when we turned it on. Even though we'd turn on the lights with a remote, we had to manually adjust the color setting each time. Also, the "flurries" are large balls that move uniformly - not very flurry like.

I'm not quite sure why there are so many negative comments. I was leary about purchasing this product because of the bad reviews. I think it's a great product! Maybe all those negative comments were from people that just could not figure out how to move it around and adjust it to get the right look. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family.

This is a great set up for those who don't find the time to go all out and decorate. Easy set up from unboxing to all set up in less then 10 min. Only need one plug because the light plugs into the motor speed controller. Well packaged product. I found the closer to my house the better. For three reasons. One the light is brighter. Two you don't shine on your jealous neighbors. Three the snow flakes are smaller.

Simple setup and it works great! The effect is surprisingly soothing and really mimics a gentle snow shower—especially if you slow the speed down with the adjustable dial. I've only used it indoors. I would wonder how "weather proof" it is, but we'll have to wait and see next year! Would definitely recommend this over the star shower laser projectors.

Really hard to see the “flurries” on our house... moved it all over the front garden but wasn’t able to get anything worth looking at..
