The Care Bears Movie

It's been a long time since I saw this film of The Care Bears, I remember watching the TV show of it back when I was a kid along with some of the films of it too, even the TV specials too when I would watch it in the morning before I'd go to school, sometimes I watched it at school when I was little, we always watched the films and some of the episodes at daycare and it was a big part of my childhood. I loved it as a kid, I even still love it now, even though I'm all grown up. Your never too old to watch kid shows and cartoons. This is the perfect animation for kids of any age, no matter how young and old or big and small you are, your never too old for kids animation like The Care Bears.

I saw this as a kid back in the day, so I decided to buy it out of nostalgia. I was heavily disappointed. The movie has not aged well at all. The acting is awful and terribly dated in its style, you will see quite a few drawing errors if you pay close enough attention and have a quick eye (wrong characters drawn during certain scenes, things drawn on characters too early causing continuity errors, etc).I did manage to get through the movie, but I don't think I'll be watching it again anytime soon. If you're an 80s kid and you've seen this movie and now have children of your own, I might consider buying it if your kids are under six. My child is four and they didn't really even have their attention held for too long. If you're a Care Bears lover, I'd look for a more modern movie and skip this one, unless you're like me and absolutely have to satisfy your nostalgic craving.

I remember watching this with my children when it first came out on VHS format. They both loved it and watched it all the time. It was their favorite movie until they discovered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now that my children are gown, I have discovered the movie in DVD and have given it to my granddaughter. She absolutely loves it and drives her mother (my daughter) as crazy wanting to watch it again and again, as she did when she was little. I highly recommend this movie for the younger aged children maybe 3-6 years old. It's entertaining for children and has a wonderful story with a great moral at the end. Adults may get bored quite easily, but the time spent sharing the movie with your children will be priceless. You can't go wrong with this movie if you want to spend a lazy, rainy afternoon with your kids.

I ordered a used copy of one of my favorite childhood movies. It arrived quickly and in good condition. Would definitely order from them in the future.

I really enjoy watching The Care Bears Movie. It's wonderful and entertaining. The music is great. No cartoon can get better than this. I also have the second movie plus a collection of the original series. I only got 3 more DVDs to get. One of them is a special (which goes by the name of The Nutcracer). Well, actually I got 4 more to get. The Care Bears Adventure in Wonderland has not yet had a DVD release. I read on wikipedia that it has DVD releases in Australia, and some other various countries. But, I hope it'll have a DVD release right here in the U.S., cause I won't be hesitate in buying it.

I got the moive time but sound keeps turning off the movie shut off

This and the prequel Care Bares Movie II are the original and best Care Bears films and the ONLY ones you should get for your kids! My son loves them so much 'Care Bear' is one of the only things he wanst to say right now.DONT get any other Care Bears dvds especially those crappy Computer Animated ones they are an abomination!There are some early cartoon Series DVDS out there though and they are much in line with these films and have all the same cast of Bears and Cousins. Those are good too.

With all the hate the Heavens of Carr a Lot are ruin..Only the Love of the two children and all the creatures of Heavens can save the Heavens and Earth.
