It does not smell like a real matcha, the color is very light sage and looks like it’s mixed with something else. When you mix it with hot water it clumps up and does not mix well. It does not taste like anything like matcha even if I put a whole teaspoon. I usually get energized when I drink my matcha in the morning but this one did not give me that benefit. If you are used to drinking ceremonial kind, do not buy this. There’s a significant difference in the quality. I have not tried cooking with it so I can’t comment on that area.

I love this stuff!! I make a green tea latte with it and it is wonderful. Has saved me a lot of money from going to the coffee shop to get my expensive green tea lattes. Will buy more.

I can honestly say that this is the best match green tea powder I've purchased. Period. The seller usually has deals of this every once in a while, and they are a complete steal whenever the chance comes! Keep yours eyes peeled like a hawk for them!

I’m so disappointed. It doesn’t smell like Matcha. It’s not green. It smelled like flour. I was afraid to use it. It’s a waste of my money 😢. I can’t believe how they are not honest about this. I’m a Matcha buyer for years. I know what’s real and what’s not. I have to give a star, though this doesn’t deserve a star.😢 I compared from other brands, the Kyoto was the lightest.

I like making green tea frappes with this! It is so good and always turns out perfect! There are so many things you can make with this it’s wonderfulBy no means was I compensated, rewarded or anything for my review this is honesty straight from me!

Good product. I went with the standard product, not high end version. I am satisfied with it, although for tea purposes it's not the best flavor, I have had better. Maybe next time I will try the higher grade.

I love matcha, but I also don't buy high quality on a regular basis. Though, I tried and drank high grade ceremonial matcha. This works fine for baking and making a sweetened latte. No weird taste or after taste. I would buy again.

I didn't know this was not Japanese and the color is stale and a light brown. Poor quality, will not buy again.
