This bowl is great. It's perfect height, and it's nice that it's tapered!! That makes a huge difference! I bought a different brand that was tilted but the bowl wasn't tapered, and my frenchie had a hard time getting food from around the edges. He has no issues with this bowl, cause the food just swirls around right back to the center as he eats. No complaints. Thank you!

Arrived on time, good condition. My 14-year-old Boston Terrier went to heaven in April. Re: quality changes in current pet products, I got stainless steel water & food dishes for new friend. Research always good idea.

Bought the small bowl for my dog to reach her food better without having to lean over too much. Good product would buy again.

I am writing this review in hopes it will help someone who is trying to decide which size to purchase for their small dog(s). I spent WAAAAYYYY too much of my time trying to get the perfect size/configuration for my own three small dogs, so perhaps this review will save someone else from the same fate.First, let me say I love these bowls. The base is made of a nice and sturdy plastic, they have some weight to them, and their non-skid grips prevent them from sliding around on our hardwood floors. They stay in place while our dogs are eating. The food bowl itself is made of a nice stainless steel but do note it is not heavy weight. Perfect for our needs though.My goal was to purchase a bowl that prevents neck issues. While I liked the idea of a simple raised bowl, I discovered my dogs still had to bend their necks in the same fashion as they did while eating from a ground-level bowl. I like the idea of the 15 degree angle bowls, so I decided to go ahead with this particular brand.With regard to sizing, I first ordered the smalls for our two Chihuahuas and the medium for our Japanese Chin. While these sizes generally worked for them, I didn't feel the bowls offered enough of a change from their original bowls. So, I decided to watch our two Chihuahuas take turns at eating out of our Japanese Chin's medium-sized bowl and felt it was a much better fit; it was slightly higher and just gave them better body mechanics while eating. What I realized for the Chin is that, while technically the medium would work for him, I felt he could benefit from a slightly larger bowl for proper body mechanics, and more importantly, for his large head. Japanese Chins have a flat face and an overly large head. Although it would seem the large is too big for a seven pound dog, it is perfect for him! He has tons of room to fit his face in the bowl (no snout) and still has space on the sides for extra oxygen so that he can slurp and snort while he chows down his food.As a point of reference, I will give the measurements for our dogs:Chihuahua #1 is 5.5 pounds, slender and dainty, 8 inches from floor to top of shoulders. Size Medium is perfect for her.Chihuahua #2 is 6 pounds, squatty and bulky, 8.5 inches from floor to top of shoulder. Size Medium is perfect for her.Japanese Chin is 7 pounds, sleek and slender, 9.5 inches from floor to top of shoulder and has a round, wide, flat-faced head. Size Large is perfect for him.The first couple of times they ate from their bowls they weren't too sure, but they all quickly adapted and seem to love their new set-up. Hope this review helps!

I ordered this for our English Bulldog. I read where it is supposed to be better for them to use a tilted bowl. As others mentioned, the bowl is small-although I knew that going in. I just couldn't spring for the larger one which was a lot more money. I have not had any problems with the bowl. It slips out when I want to clean it but not when the dog is eating. It is not heavy weight and the bottom rubber pieces are small. I keep it on a feeding mat so it does not slide. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. I have noticed that she is burping less, hopefully from not taking in so much air when she eats. I am concerned that now she can wolf down her meal in seconds as opposed to using the slow feeder that I used before. I like that the bowl itself is stainless and not plastic. If my opinion changes, I will follow up.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this feeder. The concept was simple, but would it hold up in use as expected? So far, the answer is yes.My elderly dog has a much easier time getting to his food, due to the angle of the dish, compared to his previous traditional flat-bottomed bowl. Also, as he's usually rather excited at meal time, with his traditional bowl, kibble would often be pushed out of the bowl. Few kibble bits, if any, are pushed out here, since gravity keeps all non-eaten parts in the deeper part of the bowl.There are a few non-skid parts on the bottom of the plastic part. Truthfully, I wish there were more, but the dish doesn't slide around nearly as much as the previous one.The actual feeder dish just sets in the base part, so it's easy to put in or take out. So far, my dog hasn't been able to flip the dish out of the base.At this point, I'll probably buy another or or two of the actual dish inserts, just to be able to rotate / clean them in a timely manner.

Hade tröttnat på att torka upp all mat som hamnade utanför den gamla matskålen när jag beställde denna. Sedan min katt började äta från denna har jag inte behövt torka en gång. Den fungerar och är snygg.

This bowl is a lot smaller and lower to the ground than expected. Dry food does fall back into the bowl but my cats manage to push their wet food out of the bowl.

I absolutelly love the design and so do my terriers. Just found the medium size smaller than expecte.
