Lovely kit and clear instructions for a newbie. Fragrance last and well presented

Well I have always been fascinated by candles and candle making so I went for the kit. I’m really impressed by the end product, four scents and colours to choose from. It was very easy to make from melting to adding the colouring then scent, just wait patiently for the wax to set then hey presto light the candle. Moving forwards it would make sense to buy a large batch of wax to bring the price right down. Great fun and lovely to look at in the Autumn/winter evenings. There is a set available from the same company but no scents.

Great for beginner, my 13 year old son loved using it.Pros: Easy to use, steel jar good size for each candle, the oils are actually quite decent and don’t smell cheap and the dye goes a long way! Don’t use it all in one candle, can be broken up to either dilute or saturate. Soy wax melt quickly, don’t boil it! Let it melt gradually and stir occasionally.Cons: Not enough lolly sticks to make all candles all at once, no stickers for the bottom (by law) stating burning etc. and no idea why Vanilla sticker is green-Would assume green is for eucalyptus or mint etc so we left that candle blank which essentially Vanilla is!Overall a great little package and a good price for what you get. 4 stars mainly because of the cons mentioned. Would have been 5 if more sticks and care labels for bottom of candles provided.

Arrived yesterday evening and this morning I made 6 scented candles (first time ever!). Clear instructions, easy to follow and everything you need included. All labelled up now (labels included) and stored in my gift cupboard ready for December. Highly recommend.

This was my first time making candles, the instructions were so straight forward and clear, everything was provided from the kit, the only thing From home I required was boiling water and a bowl to put it in. The scents included were: vanilla, lemon, rose and lavender scents, and the dye colours included were: red x2, yellow and purple there were four packs of 120 grams of soy wax, and for each candle they advise you use 60 grams wick makes 8 candles ( pots provided). I particularly liked the little stickers to stick on the pots to identify the scents. Definitely recommend this product, the results are lovely I’m 13 and I did it without any problems.

This contains everything for a beginner to produce candles quite quickly. It even has cute little cork coasters to go under the candle tin ! The instructions are ok although one or two oddities in the translation. The materials are good. The perfume isn’t very strong so you maybe need to use a bit more than they say.But a great kit, and excellent value.

Some of the Sticker messages didn’t make sense, the actual wax making kit is good , easy to do no complaints there , but when you want to finish with the stickers …… very strange greetings on them , you can’t just put them on and give to anyone, they’ll think your a bit odd! Be better if it was left blank to write your own greeting .

All basics, kids enjoyed making candles it was better than tv or computer games. They made an assortment of different designs. Best to buy extra moulds and scents plus colours. Kept them busy all day with adult supervision.
