Love it more than I expected!
Came back from Iceland in Sep 2024 and fell in love with the fully automatic coffee makers in the hotels there. My traditional drip coffee maker just couldn't cut it anymore.Did a lot of research on many models in a wide range of price points. The Phillips models kept coming up well reviewed. I wanted one with an integrated water filtration system to help improve the taste.I found the 4300 Latte GO as a refurbished unit here sold by Seattle Coffee Gear for about $450. It was almost half the original price. It was shipped in decent packaging and came with a 60 day return guarantee. There were no damages or blemishes. I was able to see from the counter in the device settings that the previous owner had only made about 20 drinks before returning it. I would definitely buy from Seattle Coffee Gear again.Setup was easy. The machine guides you through the steps from the touchscreen. "Fully automatic" is no joke. The screen tells you everything. It is easy to operate and has profiles for up to three differnet users to store the recipes as you tweak the settings on each type of drink to suit individual tastes.I like the Cafe Creama option as my daily go to. Not as stong as espresso, but has a lot more flavor than the Americano. The generic "Coffee" setting is not good. It makes a watery, bland cup of coffee. As others have pointed out on this same subject, this is an espresso maker, not a drip coffee maker. The Latte GO frother works amazing. It's ridiculously simple and does the job perfectly. Just keep the cup clean so that milk doesn't dry and clog the thin channels that make the froth. I don't use this as much as I originally though I would, but I still think it's a nice accessory.I bought clear glass coffee cups from IKEA because the coffee looks so good in them.In my research I saw many comments about the devices "leaking" water. I have not experienced anything like this. The drip tray is ample sized and does collect water faster than I was initially expecting. This is because the device cleans itself at startup but also cleans between drinks, which I did not realize. The device will remind you to periodically empty the grounds container and drip tray. After almost three months of use, I just did my first full cleaning cycle. The device guides you through the process. Piece of cake.I also read negative comments about noise level. I am indifferent on this. It does make noise, but it's also grinding beans and pumping water. Yes, it's noisier than a drip coffee maker but I don't find it excessively noisy.

Great product and service
I received my order VERY well packaged. I don't think I’ve ever had a package so well protected. It was easy to put together and figure out. I did notice the water receptacle was broken, a small chunk was broken off of a corner. I reached out to the seller and they immediately offered a refund or to exchange the machine. I told them I really just wanted a new receptacle and they sent it right out. I asked about the water testing strips that usually come with a new machine and they said they didn’t include them usually but due to the inconvenience with the water receptacle, they issued a $10 refund so I could purchase the strips myself. Great service and I would definitely buy from them again. As far as the espresso maker itself, it works great, makes great coffees approved by my Starbucks loving teenage daughters. The milk receptacle is amazing, it automatically steams and foams the correct amount based on the drink you selected, and puts the milk in your cup for you. Best of all the milk system is super easy to clean and that was a fear I had not wanting spoiled milk in my machine or a complicated cleaning process. This is a great machine.

Worth the investment
I recently purchased this coffee machine, and I couldn’t be happier with it. From the very first use, I was impressed with how easy it is to set up and operate. The touch display is clear and intuitive, making it simple to choose between different coffee options, and the customization features let me adjust strength, size, and milk foam exactly the way I like.

DO NOT BUY!!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Absolutely do NOT purchase from here! I got mine in and it was defective - never worked a single time. When I pursued an exchange or refund, the company didn’t respond within the 2 day period. It’s now 12 days later and I still do not have a refund and am stuck with a defective machine. I’m still fighting to get my money back. Never ever again! Absolutely horrible customer service.

Easy, Economical, Quality Coffee
Our Miele built in finally died. It’s $3,000 for a new machine and this machine is unserviceable due to lack of parts. We tried Keurig and Nespresso as a replacement. The Keurig coffee was ok. The Nespresso was better, but when you price out those pods… ouch! Your coffee adds up quickly. I attempted reusing the pods and refilling, but quickly realized that I REALLY hate being bothered with it. I wanted to stick with bean to cup style coffee. This machine costs more upfront, but in our household where 6 cups of coffee among 4 people isn’t uncommon in a day… the Philips pays for itself in well under a year. Probably closer to 6 months.I tend to make latte macchiatos with it. My husband makes coffee. My son… who knows. My mother prefers straight up coffee or cappuccino. The frother is super easy to clean and works well although my only wish for this machine is to get more foam. It does foam well, but not as well as the aeroccino that came with the Nespresso. It makes nice hot chocolate too. I made a little jar with 1 part cocoa, 2 parts monk sugar, and a little cinnamon so that we could add a spoonful to coffee for a mocha or a couple spoonfuls to frothed milk (has its own button) for hot cocoa. It is still very new in our house. Fingers crossed that it continues working well. It came as a refurb and was in good shape except the Lattego container had milk residue in it. It has been rinsed but not washed with soap I think. It does not come with the water filter or testing strips.
