Lifesavers for crochet addict with carpal tunnel
With my bilateral carpal tunnel these were a godsend. Super comfortable and smooth. I liked these so much I bought another set. Highly recommend

Great Hooks!
I really like these crochet hooks. They are smooth to work with and have no rough areas that hang up on yarn. The size of each hook is displayed on the soft cushioned handle. The cushioning is great and works well when crocheting for hours. No pain in the hands. Wonderful!

Cheapest pointed hook set available. Easy to push through little holes in tight crochet.
Love the head shape and smoothness of the metal hooks. Rubber grips are kind of junk though, they have a seam that annoys my hand and they keep slipping off. I'm going to discard and replace them.

Worthwhile knockoff for it's price
I'm always on the look out for a new addition to my crochet hook collections. One of my favorite set of hooks are the Tulip, and love the look of the red set. So, I wanted to satisfy my own curiosity how this set compared.Side by side, they are the same height. Both hooks have the Boyd favoured tapered style, and both are made with different ergonomic materials for the handle. You can google to learn about the anatomy of a crochet hook, and I will use that to reflect if there are any differences below.Point/Tip - Coopay: slightly rounded, Tulip: pointedLip/Mouth - Coopay: rounded and curved, Tulip: angular/straightThroat/Neck - Coopay: thin and sharply tapered Tulip: slightly taperedShaft/Shank - Coopay: 3.5cm. The paint used for the metal creates a slight drag Tulip: 3.5cm. Smooth finish, no dragThumb rest - Coopay: 1.5cm wide, and 4.75cm long, feel is fleshy, and slightly pliable, Tulip: 1cm wide, 5cm long, feel is smooth and rigidHandle - Coopay: 5cm long and 1cm wide sharp ridge where the thumb rest joins with the handle, Tulip: tapers from the thumb rest to .75mmMy project is a basket with a medley of stitches to see how the hook holds up. I am using worsted weight Super Saver yarn, and stitches include: magic ring, sc, hdc, dc, chain stitches, jasmine star stitch, crocheting in the third loop, cluster stitches, front post dc. I used the 10/0 6.0mm hook for my project. One of the first things I noticed was the feel of the handle, it is warm, not cool, and the fingers just dont glide over it. I washed these in warm sudsy water to remove any residue that might have been left over from the machines that made them... that did not remove that feel, so it is in the material itself. Its not an overly bad feeling, I'm just used to either using the aluminum handles, tulip or clover hooks anymore. However, the drag that is on the aluminum material is a serious problem. It may not be so bad if you are a loose crocheter, which is typical for a beginner, however when you are better at gauging your tension and using the hook correctly the drag stretches out the stitch slightly. It may just require getting used to it, but to be honest... I will probably give this set away to someone that is just learning and doing only the basic stitches without clusters or multi loops on the shaft.Hopefully this very honest review helps other to decide to buy this or skip it. If it is a parent gifting this for a stocking stuffer for a beginner, totally recommend it! However for those of us who are older and more experienced... I would go with another brand that I know and trust.

Better than I Expected
I was a little skeptical about the product, but it was better than I expected. Usually with metal based hooks, the finish of the metal does have an impact on the yarn and performance. These allow for the yarn to glide because of the smooth finish. The grips are nice especially if you are a 'pencil' hook holder. The only complaint is that on the 5.0-6.0, the shaft is unusually shorter than the smaller sizes. I would like to see hooks with longer shafts available.

Great for small hands
The shortness of the neck and handle are great for those with small hands, at least to me. Makes working on projects easier and slightly faster
