Well, just to be clear since it's not pictured, the Black Truffle Salt comes in a bag not a plastic/glass container. That aside, this flavor is rather strong, perhaps a bit too strong for most things, and it does have truffle and truffle flavor. The "flavor" is something some people like while others try to avoid. That being said, it seems OK if used sparingly, but I prefer the truffle salt without the added flavor, just the salt and truffle.

Perhaps I didn't read the information carefully enough but I was expecting crystals that would go into my salt mill. This is not it. It goes in a shaker as it is too fine to go in a salt mill or grinder.

What I expected. Great for salads, steaks,fish.... It's packed with the aroma and flavor of our beloved truffles.

Way overpriced for the amount of salt it has. Although the picture shows two packages, I only got one... not worth returning.

Good salt, but I can get 2 lbs from World Market for $5.

Yep! Fry an egg and sprinkle a little bit and you'll be in heaven. Lasts longer than other truffle salts I've tried, as they don't have a great shelf life and lose their potency fast.
