Came from caterpillar boots of the same type. Got tired of the soles coming off after a year. I wondered the same size and width as the cats. Comfort. 4.5 stars. No break in period. Only complaint is the waterproof lining in the tongue comes up and has to be folded over which digs into your ankles a bit. After a week it went away. These are big, clown sized boots. Lol. Recently I've noticed my feet sweating a lot. These are 400g and my old cats were 200g. Good for a winter boots, but I'm afraid it may be too warm for summer wear. I will probably order a half size larger next time if these aren't too hot in the summer.

I ordered these Timberland Pro Boondock 6" works boots based on the excellent reviews, and I'm glad that I did! This is my first pair of Timberland Pro, and I will be putting them to the test here in a couple weeks. I am a weedeater for our Lawn Care business, and I weedeat 15-18 yards a day, Monday-Friday, from March until October usually, so I walk alot each day. Can't wait to see how these hold up.... they sure are the most comfortable work boot I've owned so far, for being new, no break in required, and I've used many, many work boots and shoes throught the 10 years I've been doing this. It's hard to find a pair that will last over 3 months, my line of work is hard on footwear. The best pair I've had up to this point have been a pair of Double H waterproof work boots, from last year. I bought them at the beginning of the season last year, and they lasted me the whole season, but the soles are worn completely smooth and thin under were the pads of my feet set. I can say though, this Timberland Pro Boondock, is by far, way more comfortable already, I just hope that they stay that way! They truly are like walking on clouds as others have said. The size accuracy feels perfectly on with what I wear in other brands, with plenty of room in the Toe Box area, I wear a 13D. They do look a little bit big to the eye, but they are composite toe, so they will look a bit big, not a big deal to me. Also they are surprisingly lighter weight than I was expecting them to be. I had read other reviews that said they were on the heavy side, so I was a bit worried, because you want as light as possible when you weedeating and walking all day, but too my suprise, they are not nearly as heavy as I was expecting, which is great! Now, don't get me wrong, they are not featherweight by no means, but not what I would consider heavy. So far, I give these boots a 5 star, simply because they are so comfortable already, and they are an outstanding looking work boot! **I will update this at the end of the season this year, around the end of October, to keep everyone updated on how they have held up**

I have had these boots for six months now. I work pipeline construction in New England which means sharp shale, granite and blasted ledge. All things detrimental to work boots. These boots with a brush and a damp cloth look new still. They are very comfortable first and foremost. The durability and support are better than I've ever had before. I highly recommend these boots to all my fellow workers and anyone who needs a great boot.

Ive owned pretty much every big brand boot over the years, Timberland pro is one I never tried. Now after wearing these for the past year, they have been my favorite boot. Very comfortable, lightweight compared to my others. tread is now gone but lasted longer than others do for me. I will definitely be ordering more
