Georgette are known for being a thin silk and/or crepe dress material characterized by its crispness, body and outstanding durability. Silk georgette fabrics are for the most part always sheer and contain a dull face. Not completely sheer but very translucent, line this superb silk fabric and sew it into fabulous dresses, blouses and scarves. Note that a lining might be of necessity depending on the application ***********************SILK_FABRIC_MAINTENANCE********************* Tip 1 - The mulberry silk will shrink slightly after washing, so you should wash and dry it in the shade before using. Tip 2 - Using neutral detergent instead of ordinary soap, do not vigorously rub or use the hair brush, rinse clean to avoid spots or scars. Tip 3 - Avoid to contact rough surface. Folded storage instead of hanging, as the fabric will be out of shape affected by the force of gravity. Tip 4 - Avoid to spray perfume directly on the silk fabric. Tip 5 - Avoid strong sunshine. Tip 6 - Iron silk when it's 80% dry. Place a cloth underneath, and avoid high temperature that discolors the fabric.
