Description

This Power Outage Sensor will monitor any 100-240V AC outlet or any USB power source for On/Off status. Receive an alert message via your z-wave hub in the event of a power failure and *when power is restored. Monitor battery level status via your z-wave hub. *Must be within time limit of internet system's battery backup duration. IMPORTANT: Internet modem, router & z-wave hub MUST BE ON BE ON BATTERY BACKUP for operation (internet must be available during power outage). Includes 3V CR123A long-life battery Range: 100' line of sight to z-wave hub Compatible with z-wave certified hubs. Not for medical or life-dependent applications. For basic applications, e.g.: to monitor power On/Off at a freezer in your basement, sump pump, network server, etc. Does not work with Phillips Hue or other non-Z-wave hubs, or alarm dot com systems.
