Steel Frame Gazebo 10' x 10' with Mosquito Netting Double Roof

Owned for 3 yrs. Perfect for keeping sun, mosquitos & rain off of you. Very stylish & great for outdoor parties. Fits at least 3 adults, 4 children, bday tables & chairs. THIS SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN BEFORE FALL WEATHER TURNS RAINY & WINDY. A WIND STORM WILL LIFT IT & RIP THE CANVAS TOP! We left ours up until son's outdoor Halloween bday party each year & canvas material suffered thru the Pacific NW rainy fall season for almost two months, each year. At the end of the 2nd year: Canopy material filled with heavy rainwater & sagged. It stretched out & had a memory for the sagging sections.(Even with the rivets, that are supposed to let the rain water drain out) I had to safety pin ziplock bags of rocks to the outer edges, to pull canvas tight. Metal frame was left outside without cover, for both winters & metal corroded at 2 welded sections. Possibly where the windstorm had lifted it up & bent metal, b4 we ran out & took off canvas while trying not to become human kites in the process. (We welded the cracked metal sections back together this spring & they are holding up like new) Canvas was absolutely shot, by end of 2nd yr & pretty much ripped with the slightest tug. The Velcro straps that attach it to the frame ripped off and that's where all the other rips originated at. Mosquito netting walls held up great (until small child found tiny snag hole where Velcro had caught during storage, & stuck their finger in it & ripped it bigger)I would recommend spraying a outdoor waterproofer like Scotch guard, onto the top cover, before assembly. The top canvas is waterproof already, but not made from strong canvas like a heavy duty backpack, but rather material that a cheaper one season 'child's backpack' is made from. (It probably would have weighed 50lbs more, if it were made from very heavy duty canvas)I'm now searching for a replacement top, & will definitely do that to the new one.
