Bang for buck, can't be beat
This is an easy to justify SHTF / bug-out / survival hatchet. It's not likely to win any awards from world class backpacking reviewers, but as far as tossing something in your pack that comes with a decent edge, keeps a decent edge, and is easy to maintain a decent edge, all while still being reasonably balanced between "heavy enough to chip/chop" and "light enough to swing repeatedly without getting tired". Easy to use, performance grade, perfect size and just fit your hand very comfortable. Quality are top notch.

Great little hatchet!
I bought it to clear some brush from my yard, and it has done great. It really broke through the tough branches and sharpened easily. It's not super heavy, which is great if you are a weakling like me.

The axe and sheath
I wrote a previous review but want to add to it. I really like the axe. It’s pretty cool and extremely sharp. A great look and seems to be made well. I have not used it yet as I bought it for my daughters birthday. I am not really liking the sheath as it doesn’t fit tight. But I liked the axe enough to make my own sheath. The handle doesn’t have a really good grip so I wrapped it in gaffers tape and that helps and looks cool. I’m giving it 5 stars because the customer service is also very good and they aim to please. If they improve the sheath shape and size, I would buy it again. Overall I feel it’s worth the money.

Fast Delivery, Practical, but not New
Bought this small hatchet for hunting trips. Whilst my preference was the NedFoss Survival Axe, it didn't have a hammer end unfortunately. So I was left deciding between this Sulkada and SOG's Camp Axe. Opted for the Sulkada as it appeared more robust (3 fixing screws per side as opposed to SOG's 2) and didn't look too pretentious, for lack of a better way of saying it, despite the SOG having pretty good reviews. The Sulkada feels good in the hands, build quality appears to be sound, and it came with a reasonably sharp blade - I'll make it sharper still later on. Looks the business, too, aesthetically pleasing. Good hammer head on it. Speaking of which, I like that the blade cover leaves the hammer head exposed; means one can still hammer tent pins while leaving the cover on the blade, makes it somewhat more safe to hammer away. The cover itself is nothing to write about, functional and has a strap to allow a belt or utility belt to pass through. In short, this is a small, compact, and light camping hatchet. Gave it a quick work-out in the back yard - does what it one would expect it to. In essence, it is pretty much what I hoped it would be and expected. I like it!Super fast delivery I might add, considering I am in New Zealand. However, I think some other reviewers have alluded to receiving a product that is not necessarily new. I feel this is the case with my one as well. There are some minor indentations on the handle at a couple of places, and some small notches on the blade. This is oh so not acceptable at all! As such, my review score of this product cannot be more than 2 stars. It would otherwise have been a 4.5 or even maybe a 5 for what this hatchet is and its price point.Sulkada, or the reseller - get your act together! If I was in the US I would send this back for a replacement. As I am in New Zealand, the cost of sending it back is prohibitively expensive. Also, after my upcoming hunting trip it won't matter that the hatchet has some marks on it. But still, when you purchase something described as new, it is supposed to be new.Hope this review helps others.Edit 20 Oct 2022: To the seller's credit they gave their explanations on some of the issues, and offered me a full refund which I declined as I am keeping the hatchet, and as mentioned, after I use it the minor issues won't matter anymore anyway. Because of their after-sales interaction, I have changed my rating of the transaction from 2 stars to 3 stars. Note: the hatchet in my opinion is still an excellent product regardless.

Strong and Sharp!
I got this for a backpacking trip. I was the only person to bring a hatchet and it saved our trip!We had to cut lumber for our fire and this was our only tool. Sharp enough to chop sections out of wood. What was really nice is I could use the hammer end to put my tent stakes into the ground. While I was chopping wood the head was never loose or wobbly, it was solid! After chopping for a few days I probably need to sharpen it again but I will use this hatchet for all of my camping trips.

Awesome axe! Maybe a little to small!
Feels great in the hand and is very sharp! It’ll get the job done! It has a good weight to it too. Just wish there was a bigger size!
