fast and stable
I bought this PC 3 years ago and I am still so pleased with it that I thought I'd write a review. I continue to be amazed at the speed of this budget machine. It just clicks right along with surprising speed for a computer in this price range. My family members have bought pricier ones that have given them a lot of trouble. I'm also delighted that it has been stable and has never been to the shop or given me any grief. Sometimes the fan is a bit loud at start-up, but a light tap on the side and it settles down. I'm not very techie, so I'm glad to have a perky, low maintenance computer.

Great little computer for the money
Bought this for my wife. She's using it for zoom meetings, web browsing, TV streaming, etc. It's worked great so far. I wouldn't try much gaming with it, it's not that high of specs. Runs 2 monitors nicely also! She can have a zoom meeting going on one screen and documents, web pages, etc. on the other one. Very handy. I didn't rate tech support because I have not needed to deal with them. Hope it stays that way!

Good Solid safe buy works great breeze to setup and be up and running
Happy with the purchase. Amazingly light hardly 3 kgs probably less. Totally silent thanks to the SSD. Setup and running in no time.Windows 10 home edition is ok as windows go nothing more or less. Gives you the option to upgrade free to Win 11 suggest you skip and stick to 10, and Win 11 is still unstable as of 2021.My previous 12 yrs old Dell XPS had conked out after long faithful service of more than a decade. (Win 7 was better any day!!!). But it is what it is.Keyboard and mouse that comes with Acer totally sucks and could not look or feel cheaper.Overall build also feels cheap lacks the polish of Dell. But gets the job done - even my 20 year old windows CD games work fine (some of the CDs need to be running while playing the game, the full install does not seem to work for the really older games in Win10)As long as you store everything on the cloud and don't plan to tweak the internals this is a good safe buy. Reason I chose this model was the twin HDMI ports, 8X DVD drive, and a number of USB ports including one USB Type-C port and a mix of USB 3 & 2 ports. And of course the price point for this model with all these features. There are some noticeable irritants - (1) In sleep mode the bright white power light keeps flashing which is a huge nuisance if your PC is your bedroom (2) the option to enter BIOS setup flashes away in less than a second and it was only with great difficulty I managed to decipher that it was Del to enter BIOS, F2 might also work. All in all - not the greatest piece of hardware but a decent buy for the price point

Nice desktop
I like a desktop for home because I like to sit in the same place, a desk. This machine is built well. Big airy case. I upgraded my video card and all of my favorite games play great. I also added another HD and now I have a lot of space to back everything up. It's easy to upgrade and dink around with this machine. If you are feeling nerdy you could upgrade the CPU fan, add a light pack, decals, etc. I feel this machine should last a while.

Fast & reliable - what more can I say... This is an affordable computer that has performed flawlessly. Acer has quickly become my go to computer company after the purchase of this desktop & a Nitro 5 laptop.

Very fast, very cheap.
This is a good value. I use it for compiling large programs, and it is really fast. With parallel builds (ie make -j 10) it really flies. The bios options are minimal, but I have no difficulty running windows or Linux. I bought two. Also, they are silent.
