I have been using alcohol markers for about three years and I was tired of trying to figure things out on my own and ruining a decent drawing after I colored it with marker. This book has helped me tremendously. The techniques and tips can apply to any type of alcohol marker (I don’t have any Copic markers) because it covers the basics of coloring techniques, how to best use different marker tips, how to read the cap labels on some of my markers, blending marker colors, paper selection, and, most helpful to me, how to use other materials (like white gel pens, colored fine liner pens and color pencils) to polish up your drawing. This book doesn’t cover how to draw, but only how to color your drawings with marker. I highly recommend this book if you’re having trouble getting the most out of your alcohol markers after using them for a while, or are just getting started with using them as a coloring medium.

I needed some good and fast tips on using copic markers so to be quickly able to work with them on a new project. This book was really very helpful to get acquainted with the new media. Lots of drills, examples and show cases. Very recommended.
