Smart Design!
We just had new gutters installed, and to keep the water away from the foundation one of the pipes went across the path to the backyard. These hinges solved the problem in minutes. The hinges almost install themselves, no guesswork. They are designed to slide onto the gutter so the hinges stay in place and they hold the gutter pieces in place as you fasten them making installation really easy, . Two suggestions: Work the hinges a little to loosen the connection before installing them. Also, because of the design, once installed, there is a gap left at the connection (to allow the hinge to fold up) in which leaves could accumulate. I just just removed the bottom of a piece (6 inches) of gutter (made an upside down U) and snapped it over the hinge. I really loved those hinges.

Works like a charm!
The zip hinge works exactly as described and was easy and quick to do, after the first one. (I did five total on my home.)However, I have one BIG suggestion to other customers who might be puzzled the way I was. When you take the hinges out of the package and first attempt to move them they don't!!! They're completely "stiff". I struggled with the first one and after 10 minutes it occurred to me that a drop or two of hinge oil might do the trick. And it did. So a word of advice; have some hinge oil handy to loosen them up. I don't know why this simple suggestion isn't included in the instructions. But this is the only quibble that I have. They are a brilliant product, and have already made a huge difference in keeping the water away from my foundation.

Works as described, easy to install
I have the smaller size downspouts of the two common sizes. Installation very easy, screws supplied easily installed without drilling a pilot hole.

Simple, Straightforward, & Versatile!
I liked the fact that these gutter hinges are in 2 separate pieces that clip onto the corners of the downspout in either the 3x4 or 4x3 orientations. Installation is a snap with all the screws and the nut driver included.
