Easy to use and comes with a variety of attachments. Can use wet or dry. The wet filter is easy to clean. Good suction and the suction hose is long enough to reach where I need it to. My only complaints: #1 - only 1 bag included for "dry" use and it's hard to order more (the manufacturer was out for a long, long time) and the hose for the dumping is a lot shorter than I'd like. In my opinion, the outflow hose should be at least 15' in length to situate it well away from where you are sucking up the water and this one isn't.

We have a black walnut tree that is close to our pond. Everytime it rains, tree stuff falls down into the pond & no amount of clarifiers or cleaning the pump filter will take care of the silt. Last 2 times we used industrial wet/drive vac & it did a great job. BUT two of us have to handle the vac because it fills up quickly & someone had to shut it off, unlatch the lid, dump the container & then reverse the process. Yikes that was time consuming & back breaking (I was the person with the water dumping job!). I bought this pond vacuum but it didn't have any reviews yet so I hesitated a few days. I went ahead & purchased it because it did come with more cleaning head options than anyone else (@ that price). It is 1400 watts vs. 1600 but I hoped that didn't make too much of a difference... And it didn't. We used it last weekend and it was great! While my husband handled the pond cleaning, I was able to do other jobs like trim some of the pond plants & fertilize them. The container fills up with water (a sponge filter is inside cleaning algae& silt) then another hose fills with water until a mental on the top is forced to open and release the water (it watered our regular plants!). We chose to get rid of the water because e pond was so dirty with silt, the filter could not adequately clean the water to our satisfaction. But next time we plan on cleaning the pond & recirculate the water back into the pond. We love it & are very happy with our purchase. It's fun to have the vacuuming stop automatically, discharge & then start up again without having to physically do anything. All attachments worked well! Our pond is small at about 600 gallons but we have 11 comet &, 5 plants plus rocks and the vacuum cleaner everything extremely well!!

I was very hopeful that this machine would be effective and of good quality when I saw how carefully and well thought out it was packaged. My hopes have not been failed. I've used this machine 20+ times since I bought it and it works very well. Don't think you'll be able to vacuum your pond in one session and have it looking magazine worthy. If you've let the sludge build up for a year like I have, it's going to take a few times to get it managed. You obviously remove a lot of pond water if you use this machine, so you have to do it in several attempts so as not to throw off the balance of your pond. This thing picks up leaves and other debris. It works great. I really like that it shuts off automatically, drains the water and then starts back up. Others have commented that it's annoying to wait between cycling on and off, but I don't mind it - it's not that long of a wait. I can't wait to see how pristine my pond will look as I continue to use this machine. Glad I purchased it!

Easy to use but I just need to keep a watch out to see if the water is still pumping out. My pond was pretty dirty so the hose clogged up. The feature with the clear piece on top of hose was a great ideas. Able to see if water is being pumped out.

It worked for less than a year. Fairly good when it was working.

This worked perfect - first time my pond was actually cleaned this thoroughly. Easy to operate and clean when done. The feature that sells this vacuum is the auto shut off and emptying when full and then starts right back up when the emptying feature is completed. It actually is not loud either so glad I didn't bother neighbors while using. And the hoses are long so gives you lots of flexibility when moving around the pond. The tube that is clear shows you the dirt and muck you are getting through the hose. This pond vac is great!

Our ornamental fish pond had gotten out of control. It is a buried 8 foot stock tank and the filter had become compromised. ITV has small pea gravel on the bottom but the suction piece on this equipment oils be closed down so narrow that when we vacuumed we lost no gravel. Game changer.

after hearing that most pond vacuums were worthless, I decided to go ahead with the purchase of this unit anyway. the low price made it possible. I was surprised to find that this unit was as effective as advertised. I hadnt cleaned this pond in 8 years and this unit sucked up all the gunk in the bottom of the pond (3ft deep).
