These were not that comfortable. They help with your foot from sliding, but I rarely use them since they don't make the shoe more comfortable.

I bought these insoles for my still-growing niece, who is already in a women’s size 5 shoe and very unhappy about having to buy “old lady shoes” because her feet are growing so quickly. She recently had to purchase her first pair of real ‘dress shoes’ that coordinated with her first extra-fancy dress she wore for a day-long wedding event. Her new shoes were very uncomfortable to her, despite her attempts to wear them in, and since she had to wear them close to 16 hours, I thought these insoles would help out.Well, the event is over and I’m glad to report that these insoles more-than helped her out that day! Not only did they prevent blisters, she reported to me that she never had to sit down and take them off with that huge sigh of relief that which all of us ladies are familiar uttering at the end of a long day in heels…”Oh, my poor feet!”These insoles fit women’s sizes 4, 5 and 6, and there is a larger size of the insoles available that fit up to size 8, I believe. A nice aspect of these insoles is that they come pre-fitted to the appropriate sizes, so there is no need to cut them to size (which always ends up being more difficult to do than one would imagine, I can tell you from experience). A negative aspect of these insoles is that they are available in limited women’s sizes.The actual insoles are relatively thin at about one and a half centimeters, but inside of dressy shoes, even something this thin can seem bulky. These insoles, I was assured by my niece, did in fact make her shoes fit a tad bit more snugly in only the most-positive way, and she reports that the extra snugness actually did her wonders as far as keeping her skinny feet in the shoe better. There is traction built into the insoles for this same reason. The heel and pad areas have ridges to provide traction to prevent your feet from slipping, and I can see how this would be especially helpful with any amount of heel in one’s shoes.My niece reported to me that her feet started to sweat at one point, and the extra-snug fit helped to keep her feet from sliding about in the shoes and prevented the discomfort of blisters, etc. She had a tiny heel of about one half inch, yet with sweat, your feet can slide all over the place even without a heel, so this traction is great regardless!*Note: I think perhaps I am using the word ‘snug’ too much, and I don’t mean to use it to describe the fit in a bad way. Rather, I mean to use it to describe how they made her shoes fit on her skinny, adolescent feet BETTER, certainly not worse.

With this type of product I wanted to get a solid couple uses out of it before I reviewed it. So for the last 2 days ive been wearing 3 inch heels in downtown Lansing, while walking around to play pokemon and work. To start, these heels weren’t uncomfortable in the first place, but the balls of my feet would eventually get pretty typical soreness from the hard insole of the shoe. Not to the point of blisters, but just to the point where after a walk or taking the stairs id feel the need to sit and adjust my feet.I placed these in my heels and we were off. They make my shoes fit just a bit tighter, but they don’t hurt at all and they certainly don’t slide around at all now. The padding was noticeable instantly! My heel felt more comfortable and the ball of my foot was on a bit of a cushioned area. The insole doesn’t go long enough to have the toes sit on it, but that didn’t make any difference for comfort of functionality, just a mention.While walking around I noticed that the gel seemed to move just a little, upon further inspection it’s one of those massaging pads. It was nice. I was able to stand for much longer periods and had a few less aches after walking for 5 blocks downtown. I honestly didn’t need to take my shoes off at all from 6am to 430pm. These were a great way to improve my favorite heels and I think I’ll get a few more pairs for some of my other shoes. 5 out of 5 for sure.I received this product at a promotional price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion of the item.
