UPDATED: Surprise! Half Daylight, Half Tungsten ... D-2000 now ALL DAYLIGHT!
Powerful LED at a great price - packaged very well for shipping protection. Would've easily given 5 stars except for one thing: This is a bi-color light, meaning that half of the diodes are dedicated to the 3200 bulb color, essentially cutting the unit's light output in half, and I am still puzzled as to why there is a 3200 tungsten conversion filter included. Perhaps lost in translation? ... The description says "switch by filter", which yes, one could do by adding the orange gel while set to daylight, but much better accomplished by simply dialing over to the tungsten bulbs, which shuts off the daylight ones. There is no mention of "Bi-color" in the product name, which BTW includes a "D", usually standing for "daylight" in English speaking countries, and the company's only other comparable fixture at the time of this writing, the E-2000, IS as stated, a Bi-Color light - effectively what I received, though it bears "D-2000". Apparently, there is no option for a 100% daylight balanced fixture. Still, this light will be of great use. 7/2017 UPDATE: Purchased another, this time D-2000 is ALL daylight balanced and super bright!

Brighter than most units
This unit was brighter than many other LED panels and at a great price point. Note it is slightly larger than the typical 1X1. Of course, all the "beads" are daylight, which increases the output compared to bi-color units. Also, I received a swift and polite resolution when one unit was damaged in shipping - thank you for your professionalism. The units run at least 4-5 hours on one Vmount battery - very useful when on location without AC power. When you tilt down, note that the lower barn door cannot remain wide open when it is near the base of the yoke. The digital "brightness" read out numbers are helpful. It would be even better if the light could be dialed down closer to "0" - if you are close to the talent, you may need to use ND filter. The supplied diffusion plastic magnet filter, of course, helps reduce the light's "intensity".

This Light is JUNK!
We purchased this light just over a year ago and have used it maybe 6 times. During a video shoot last week we went to use the light and it wouldn't work. Took it to an electrical shop and they spent several hours trying to chase down the problem only to find that the main circuit board was apparently bad. Contacted the seller and they wanted to send me a new circuit board, which was fine by me but wanted to charge me $70 dollars for the board and shipping. Then they sent me a link to pay for the items and it took me to some strange product on Amazon and wanted me to buy the product and they would send me the board???????? Say WHAT? Very unprofessional, and definitely not trust worthy, personally I wouldn't spend another dime on this piece of JUNK! Buy at your own risk!

Not for professional use. Even budget pros shouldn't buy.
Solid build quality. Color is actually 5100K on a real color meter. You need 1/8 blue and 1/16 minus green to get 5600K. The doors are weak and as with most LED box lights, they have little to no cut but that's kind of the nature of these lights.Even with 1700 LED, output is same as Came-TV 1024 so kind of disappointed there. The diffusion is magnetic so it's cool and all but any gel will slip out the bottom. Also, with diffusion in, doors don't shut. Also, baby pin receiver is not big enough for a baby pin!So while some parts are good, this is a non starter for me. Sent back.

You CAN extend the barndoors; Excellent quality light
I'm reviewing here the D-2000 DAYLIGHT only version. In short: I like it. A lot.I'm also going to compare the Idobol to the Fovitec StudioPro series, because those are the lights I've been using for years now. The Idobol is new to me but I'm about to get a bunch more and replace the Fovitecs. One reviewer claimed he couldn't extend the barn doors all the way because the rail mounts (on the sides) are in the way. That's not correct - you can actually EXTEND (raise) the light up on the rails and then you CAN extend the barndoors perfectly. This also lets you tilt the light a lot more than on some other brands. Photo #1 shows the non-extended setup, the way it comes in the box. Loosen the connectors on the side (like you would if you wanted to tilt the light backwards or forwards) and then simply RAISE the light. Photo #2 shows the light raised up on its rails. Nice! Photo #3 shows the extended barn doors. Works just fine. Photo #4 is a lower shot of the same setup. You could bring the barn doors further back than I did in the pics but you get the idea. Either way, barn doors are not a problem here. Now on to the rest of the light: I really like it. I have been using Fovitec StudioPro lights exclusively for 5 years now (600, 900, and 1200, both Daylight-only and Bi-color). They were one of the first to provide reasonably good quality LED lighting at a reasonable price and they did the job. Since then, several other manufacturers have started making great LEDs and Dison, the company that makes LED lighting under the Idobol and Yidoblo brands, is one of them. And right now Idobol lights are my favorite. A couple reasons why:1) light quality. First and foremost, the quality and strength of the light OUTPUT itself is excellent. The bulbs are strong, bright, and seem durable. Some of the other brands sometimes push out lighting units that for some reason have bulbs that aren't quite the same strength as the others, within the same unit, but all bulbs in the Idobol D-2000 are equally bright. And there are a lot of them. The D-2000 is a tad larger than the Fovitec StudioPro 600 series (that style/size is sometimes referred to as a 1x1) but not quite as wide as the 900 series from what I've been eyeballing. Either way, it's extremely portable, but actually has a lot more bulbs packed in. So you get a bigger bang for your buck in a smaller package, which is always nice.Color rendering index (CRI) and light temperature accuracy is very important to me as I shoot a lot of people.I compared the light temperature between the Idobol D-2000 and a Fovitec StudioPro 1200 series using the Illuminati Wireless light and color meter (Amazon ASIN B07641GR1J). The Idobol D-2000 Daylight came in at 5050K , the Fovitec 1200 (Daylight) at around 4950K. So Idobol is actually a little more accurate in their claim, although still not 5500K as they state. Not a deal breaker, just know this going on. BTW, so far all LED brands I've tried push out somewhat different Kelvins than what they state. Just make sure you don't buy all different brands and mix 'em on set. Doing that would not actually be a problem with the Idobol D-2000 and the Fovitec because those temps are very close to each other, close enough to not really matter on set or in post. But some other brands vary wildly so...be careful.I shot several scenes with the Idobol and human subject, and again with the Fovitec (1200 series though). Skin tones were rendered beautifully on both but the Idobol beat out the Fovitec in my tests. Interestingly, the light actually seems a little less harsh compared to the old Fovitecs. I suspect that the fact that the Idobol has a wider (softer) beam angle of 60 degrees versus the Fovitec's 45 degrees has a lot to do with that.In post production I noticed that the Fovitec cast a slight green hue on white objects (bed sheets, walls, etc). Not horrible but it's noticeable if you do grading work. The Idobol does not seem to cast a green hue. Very nice. The Idobol is a little thinner than the Fovitec lights, which is nice but probably not super important. Although if you have a lot of lights, this does make a difference when you haul your gear around. So the Idobol wins here too.Now the next thing seems minor but let me tell ya, in practice this matters a lot: the AC power adapter connector on the Idobol is a 3-prong all-metal masterpiece. You screw in the AC cable part that connects to the light - SUPER stable, it just won't come out unless you unscrew the plug. You can move the light, knock it over (oh you know you've done that, too!) and the plug will just happily stay in the light. The AC adapter cables are much thicker, too. I absolutely love that because on the Fovitec lights, those tiny flimsy plugs break so easily (yes, I got sparks on the Fovitecs. Not good), and the cables on their AC adapters are just as bad. Frankly, this is a big plus for the Idobol. The Idobol D-2000 has a LCD display on the back that tells you the light intensity and color temperature of your light. (even on the Daylight version it shows the temp, but since you can't change it, it'll just say 5500). The OLD Fovitec lights only had dials and you had to guess your light output. Their new ones do have displays like the Idobol though.I found the intensity dial on the Idobol was smooth, stepless and goes all the way from 100 to 0. Believe it or not, some lights can't go below 10 or 20% for some reason. I'm glad the Idobol allows for finer control. The Idobol and the NEW Fovitec StudioPro lights come with DMX control (the OLD Fovitecs do not). If you don't know what that means, you don't need it, but it doesn't hurt to have it.The Idobol's battery adapter place is well made and sturdy. It accepts the Sony FP series batteries (and their knock-offs, which I recommend unless you're swimming in money), which is pretty much standard now in lighting. If you don't want or can't use the AC adapter, you'll be able to power these lights with FP-type batteries. I did not test how long I can run the Idobol D-2000 on batteries, only tested that it works and it did.The Idobol comes in a bag, which also contains 2 different diffuser panels: 1 regular opaque diffuser, and 1 orange filter (so you can kinda sorta get into tungsten light/3200K territory). These diffusers have a cool magnetic attachment mechanism that's easy to use. The magnets are in the corners and you simply attach them on the light panel. Done. The Fovitec require you to slide the diffuser panels into slots, which can damage the bulbs and/or break the diffuser if you do it a lot and are clumsy like me.A final word on Idobol/Dison/Yidoblo: their product pages are confusing and sometimes not accurate, or just not very clear. Sometimes the same light is branded with 2 different company names (see above, they're the same). Instead of beam angle they say "light angle", which is unusual. They might say that a light has a certain color temperature range but then if you read closely, it turns out that's only with one of the filters. Yet on another product's page you think you're getting an all Daylight version but it's actually for a bi-color one. So be sure to read CAREFULLY through the entire product page, and if something isn't clear, hit up the seller. Seriously, don't let inaccurate product page info deter you from buying these lights. They're great. That about sums it up. It's an excellent quality light with a very nice, color accurate output and a couple neat features that shows Dison/Idobol cares. I recommend it and will be buying more of these (and the larger series).

Super Bright
This light is super bright. I love it. I work with animals running and black dogs are very dark in photos. This light really brings them out!
