This product takes forever to heat1. I open the package side latch broken2. I prepared half bag of mini dumplings and some vegetables ( they fill about 1/2 ) of the capacity— I spent 1hr 28 min to get it heated to stage of picture 3 where noticeblly raw3. I decided to add water and boil it, after another 53 minutes, water is still cold so it cannot be used for boiling/cooking / heating up liquids.4. Next, I tested precooked rice that fill up almost all the capacity 1.5 L pause check twice in the middle after 1/2 hr and 1hr25 min rice still cold. I fall asleep and wake up to turn off the device( not auto off). It is warm, not hot just barely warm but ok since it was precooked I will end there the total heating of 1.5 l rice takes 3hours 28minutes5.next morning I heat the remaining leftovers rice from yesterday (just a small bowl as in picture ). This only fills up 1/5 or less of 1.5L capacity and it takes 30 minutes to get it warm again warm not hot.It takes way too long to just get food heated, if I added sides like fish , meat, soup as I would typically eat, I would imagined another 3-4 hours to just get it to warm. To sum up, this doesn’t cook definitely. It doesn’t heat in advertising time and never reached a high temperature that my hands never felt any steam. The quality is poorly made with latch arrived broken. The design is great lunch box if no heating is intended portable and dedicated fork and spoon spot integrated.I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who intend to eat hot lunches. But you may consider buying as a mere container box.

My husband is an electrician and is at different jobs everyday. Microwaves aren’t always available to him. We live in Montana so a hot lunch is beneficial during our cold spells. This has been a game changer forhim! He is able to warm up leftovers either in his truck or he can plug it into an outlet at the job site. All his work buddies are jealous. Best thing I have ever bought him.

This unit is good for heating up leftovers for lunch. I would've given it 5 stars but it leaks at the port side where you plug in. To me that's dangerous n could cause a fire

Lo recomiendo al 100%,solo necesitas 35 minutos y tu comida estará caliente si tiene caldo como sopas 45 minutos y listo.

***NEW UPDATE***After couple months of usage, the handle has finally given up on me. The lunch box cannot be close tightly, making it nearly unusably. I will have to put this in the trash. Product quality still needs to improve for a long term usage. If the plastic material is in a better quality, I am sure this product will last for couple year but it’s not the case.***********************I have had use this lunch box for over a month. It’s been working quite well actually. I was able to use it in the car when I am traveling to different places. Keeping my foods warm when I arrived to destinations. It can also be plugged in an wall outlets as well. Usually it takes around 45 mins - 1 hr to get the food ready from fridge temp. Not too bad! I like it! Easy to use, just like plug and play!
