Great for Ramen
I really love this pot. It's perfect for making ramen, with plenty of room to add in extra veggies. On high it gets hot enough to cook small chunks of meat or hamburger. Works to warm up soups, make instant mashed potatoes, oat meal, cream of wheat... anything you can do in a small pot this thing is good for. It will boil water on high. I recommend it for anyone who has a small space or wants a way to cook a small and quick meal. If your workplace allows, and you have a small kitchen space, you can even use it to make lunch. A very helpful appliance.

Perfect size and great for a quick meal
Perfect size and great for a quick meal. Boils very quickly and can cook noodles in just a few minutes. Fits well in my busy daily schedule and can be easily cleaned. Doesn't take up too much space so its great to be used at home or even taken along on a trip. Quality seems very nice and it has a great design. Loving this pot!

Good for dorm cooking
I live in a dorm with no stove, so this little hot pot is good for cooking things like rice or ramen. I've even fried some vegetables in here, though it can be tough since the surface area of the pot is smaller than most frying pans. You can boil water pretty fast with the high setting and then cover with the lid and set it to low to get a simmer, which is good for rice. My two main problems are that food tends to stick to the bottom, no matter how well you stir it, and it's a little puzzling to clean as you cannot remove the metal bowl from the rest of the pot, so you have to be careful about not getting water in the switch. I've accidentally gotten water inside the unit and it seems to be functioning fine, but I'd rather not risk it too much. Letting the pot soak full of hot soapy water helps with the stuck food, but it's still annoying to deal with, as I'd rather just clean up and put it away. Overall a good and useful product that doesn't take up too much space.

Nice little cooker
I've been using this unit on and off for about a month now. For such a cheap little cook pot, it works great.Cooks a can of soup boiling hot in a couple minutes. The bottom gets so hot even on the low setting that the food / soup that you're heating up will stick to the bottom and burn. My easy cleanup to the burned stuck on food to the bottom, I boil half a pot of water in the mini cook pot and let it sit for a bit. The stuck on food comes right off.The extention cord is too short! But this unit uses a standard computer power cord so the easy fix was to dig out an old computer power cord I have and use that instead. This unit isn't perfect but for $21.99 it's well worth the price. So far I've cooked Japanese Ramen noodles, misc Chefboyardee, chilli, misc Campbell soups, anything strait out the can. Works. I haven't used another mini electric cook pot to really compare but I do really like this one so far and I highly recommend it.

Nice addition to my cooking-for-one collection
It’s very pretty, sturdy and well built. All parts fit perfectly. A couple of things I need to mention even though they’re not likely to impair its operation: (1) I found a small scratch on the inner pot and (2) wiping the rim where the inner pot and the outer shell meet, left some dark stains on the cloth. I’m positive that this is a first-use issue so I won’t be concerned about it. In conclusion, I’m very happy with my purchase. A couple of tips: boiling water only - such as when cooking boiled eggs - may leave spots. These are easily removed with a soft cloth or paper towel dipped in any vinegar. I personally avoid this issue by using distilled water instead of regular water. If you plan to store the cord inside the pot, wrap it first in a soft cloth to protect the smooth finish of the inner S/S lining from scratches.

there are some spots in the pot after my 1st use and wash. They couldn’t be washed off.

Durable and easy to use
I bought my first one almost a year ago. It is a lot more durable than I thought. After many washings, I thought it would short circuit by now for a product in this price range. But it hasn't. Still boils water as fast as when I first got it. Been using it for soup, ramen, and bubble milk tea. Very convenient to use and less hassle than using the stove. Buying my second one now so me and my hubby can have hot pot shabu shabu style together.
