Don’t understand your question, but this is a real comfortable belt. and it looks like leather in the black and brown colors. I have had the leather braided belt before it eventually wore out but I don’t think this material will.

are the tips bonded or real leather ?

I have been wearing my JUKMO Elastic Belt for months now with no evidence of bonded leather "flaking" and I believe they are real leather. There was a concern I had after a couple of months of the stitching coming out in one place, but I burned the thread, and it seems to be holding fine now. In all, I love this belt.

What size is recommended if i am right on the edge between small and medium (approx 31.5 " waist)?

You can choose the Medium. Because if it's too small, you can't wear it. If it's a little big, you'll still be able to fit it.
