Made of mulberry tree inner bark with long strands of kozo fiber, which differentiate it from Mulberry Paper #1(without long stringing fiber); Known as "dragon-clouds" paper, it is translucent white, PH neutral and archival, works well with most water-based art media including watercolors and fluid acrylics. Semi-sized, resists bleeding and shows color brilliantly, appropriate for painting landscapes, animals, plants and flowers, etc. It is very durable for split brush painting techniques, finger painting, wet-washing, mounting and marbling techniques. Not the size described
Though the label on the roll said 19" x 28" as described on the product page, the paper that came was approximately half that size. Since I'm using this paper in a bookbinding project it is not appropriate to have smaller sheets. Do not order if you need the sheets to be the size described! I will be returning these.That said, it is beautiful paper and would otherwise have been exactly what I was looking for, if not for the size.
