Small thing fall through
It's ok for large noodles but small macaroni slipped right through as do pieces of potatoes. This no about what you want it for before buying or using.

use to steam veggies
I had bought this for my halogen cooker, as a way to dry-fry julienned potatoes. Then I got diagnosed with diabetes, so no more potatoes. Now I steam veggies with it. Works ok, not really what it's for, but whatever- was cheap.
