Really great item. I use them for growing orchids since they are a challenge to grow. They work well. Fit on old fashioned window sills that are not very wide. Easy to use and clean. Made very sturdy.

These containers work better than expected. The are great for house plants. They allow you to water once a week and not have to worry about spilling, overflow or your plants drying out too soon. AND you don't have to worry about mosquitos breeding in a drip tray!I like the little clay balls that came with them to help moisture wick up from the bottom. I like the small window that shows how much excess water is in the bottom.And they LOOK GREAT.

I needed something for my burgeoning African Violets that were crowding out their pots. These pots work great for them so far. The outer white pot seems a little thinner than I expected and seems as if it might break easily, but it seems sturdy enough so far. The design and the window are especially helpful to keep my violets happy. I just repotted them 2 weeks ago and they have already begun blooming! I'm glad to get 4 in the package.Update: my African Violets LOVE these pots and the African Violet soil I planted them in. They have doubled in size and are happily blooming.

These come with a thick wick that appears to do a great job of keeping our plant roots moist. I’ve now carefully repotted six plants into these and each is thriving.The water level window on the side makes it easy to see when it’s time to add more water. So far, in our very hot and dry climate, water appears to last approximately one week for medium sized African violets.They look decent and are easy to use so we ordered another six pack.

These seem exactly as described. And a good value for the price.

These work so well for my orchids and some of my other plants. I bought a lot and my mother is using one for her pitcher plant and they love this planter

I love using these on my orchids at work! The flowers were dried out and starting to die. Within 2 days of repotting, the plants were showing new leaf growth. I haven't seen any new blooms, but I hope that will come soon. Orchids are not meant to be in soil, so this allows the roots to get enough moisture without drowning them. For a potting medium, I used only the clay balls and added some new ones from Ikea as well.

These pots let enough light through that I get a lot of algae growth in the reservoir. Additionally, the water level window is too low in my opinion. I like to keep the water just barely touching the bottom of the basket to allow the leca to directly wick water up but the water level window doesn't go up high enough to see when the water is no longer in contact with the basket. The water level only shows up in the window once the level is quite low. For use with soil this wouldn't be a problem but isn't ideal for semi-hydro.

I have been using these with PON for indoor Hoyas. A good size & light weight. One arrive damaged, the seller was excellent and sent a replacement. It arrived the next week.
