Several health benefits and product is good and clear to use but it's taste is little bit like Ayurvedic medicines.

Too much sand in the product. Will try another brand.

I have never bought chicory before so I cannot comment on its authenticity but its satisfactory for me1. Taste - Really strong. For a glass of 450 ml of coffee, you need no more than a pinch (1/6th teaspoon of chicory) to make the coffee taste much stronger and bitter (esp. since 100% coffee powder does not have a really strong flavor)2. Consistency - The chicory is extra fine grounded powder (dust like consistency)3. Comes in a air sealable bag which is nice since I bought a 1 kg bag. If you are buying chicory for the first time, go for no more than 500g. It should last for upto a year if you take coffee twice a day.Fun facts: Chicory powder releases about twice the amount of concentrate per g in comparison to coffee from coffee grounds. So dont use the same quotient mix as you do coffee else you would get a drink so bitter you wont be able to drink it (like eating a neem leaf mix raw)Very much worth the price. Only wish I could get a medium coarse ground consistency to go with my coffee grounds since I use a french press (doesnt really matter anyway since you wont feel this chicory dust affect your otherwise clean liquid coffee concoction)Rating 5/5
